Representing the only M3 generation to feature a V8 engine, this 2008 BMW E90 M3 Sedan is finished in Sparkling Graphite Metallic over a Black Novillo leather interior. It pairs a 6-speed manual transmission with its 4.0-liter S65 V8 and comes equipped with adaptive xenon headlights, power heated seats, Comfort Access, Navigation System Professional, Electronic Damper Control (EDC), M Drive, and a locking M Variable Differential. The car was sold new in Kansas and remained with its original owner up until 2017. It was purchased by the seller’s client in 2021 and fortified with new rod bearings and bolts. This M3 is now being offered for auction out of New Jersey with approximately 63k miles on the odometer.

Compared to the standard E90 3-Series sedan, the M3 version features unique bumpers, front fender vents, side skirts, a trunk lid spoiler, quad exhaust outlets, aerodynamic mirrors, and a vented “power dome” hood. This example is finished in Sparkling Graphite Metallic complemented by gloss black Shadowline trim and silver 18” Style 219 M Double-Spoke wheels. Other equipment includes adaptive xenon headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, black kidney grilles, clear front corner reflectors, and heated power mirrors. The seller notes the Michelin Pilot Sport tires show date codes from 2020 and remain in excellent condition. The car’s exterior is also described to be in very good original condition with clear paint protection film applied over the front bumper, fenders, and the forward half of the hood. The cabin is appointed with Black Novillo leather upholstery, Anthracite cloth headliner, and brushed aluminum trim. Accessories include heated and power-adjustable front seats with lumbar support and driver memory settings, M3-branded door sills and floor mats, a three-spoke M multifunction steering wheel, an M footrest, M3-specific gauges, automatic climate control, cruise control, Comfort Access, an engine start/stop button, a hi-fi sound system, and an infotainment display with Navigation System Professional.

Equipped with a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter S65 V8 engine featuring M Double-VANOS variable valve timing, this M3 produces up to 414 HP and 295 lb.-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven by way of a 6-speed manual transmission and an M Variable Differential lock. The car comes standard with Electronic Damper Control (EDC) suspension and the M Drive system which allows the driver to adjust performance settings with buttons on the center console. It has also been upgraded with a Dinan front sway bar and an ECU flash tune. An OBD scanner and flash tool are included with the sale. Notable service items include replacements of the connecting rod bearings and bolts, oil pan gasket, hood struts, brake fluid, and battery in 2021, an A/C system recharge in 2022, and new spark plugs, ignition coils, and a remote battery in August 2023. The most recent oil service was completed in December 2023.
