Now available for auction is this 2008 Ferrari F430 Berlinetta beautifully appointed in Rosso Corsa over a Cuoio leather interior. The successor to the 360 Modena, the F430 was unveiled in 2004 with Pininfarina-designed aluminum bodywork, a naturally aspirated flat-plane crank V8, and a host of Formula One inspired technology including the E-Diff active electronic differential, Skyhook electronic suspension, and the Manettino control knob mounted on the steering wheel. This one-owner example was optioned with carbon-ceramic brakes including red-painted 6-piston Brembo calipers. It has also been fitted with a set of genuine F430 Scuderia wheels.  Showing just over 16k miles on the odometer, this F430 is now being offered for auction by its original owner out of Georgia.

This Berlinetta is finished in the traditional shade of Rosso Corsa (322). The F430 benefited from wind-tunnel testing and advancements in aerodynamic technology from Ferrari’s Formula One racing program, including large intakes in the front bumper that help to promote downforce and cool the F430s radiators, and intakes on top of the rear fenders that help push fresh air towards the engine. The F430 also shares styling elements with some of Ferrari’s most iconic cars including taillights and engine lid grilles inspired by the Enzo, and Testarossa-style aerodynamic wing mirrors. Exterior details include optional red-painted brake calipers and dark grey 19” F430 Scuderia wheels. The seller reports only very minor signs of road-going wear, additional images are provided in the photo gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

The cabin is upholstered in Cuoio leather with a matching dashboard, red carpeting, and heavy red stitching. The power-operated racing-inspired seats feature optional black contrast piping and embossed Cavallino logos in the headrests.  The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel features aluminum paddle shifters, a red ignition button, and the Manettino switch that allows the driver to toggle between different performance settings. Instrumentation includes a yellow-faced 10k-RPM tachometer flanked by a 220-MPH speedometer and gauges for coolant and oil temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The seller reports slight stickiness to some of the plastic touchpoints as is common on Ferrari’s of this era. The tire pressure sensors are due for replacement and the seller reports the airbag light remains illuminated after the battery died at one point. A computer diagnostic report is provided in the gallery.

The F430 is powered by a 4.3L quad-cam 32-valve flat-plane crank V8 engine which was factory rated at 483 HP and 343 lb.-ft of torque. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a 6-speed F1 automated manual gearbox and an E-Diff active limited-slip differential that allows the F430 to reach 60 MPH in as little as 3.6 seconds with a top speed of nearly 200 MPH. The CARFAX report details a history of service carried out primarily at Ferrari of Atlanta.  An oil change and inspection was completed in May of 2021 and found approximately 77% clutch life remaining.

This sale will include a set of two keys, the original window sticker, Ferrari VIP book, a full set of covers (car, seats, steering wheel), battery charger, OEM tool kit, air compressor, and clean title. A beautifully appointed Ferrari with a naturally-aspirated V8, this one-owner F430 is not to be overlooked.

    @Rwregen

  • Silver250GT (seller) 2 years, 5 monthsago

    @Rwregen Front tires are fairly new with around 1500 miles on them. Rears have around 2500 to 3000 miles since installed

    @seller does the car have all the original emission control equipment such as cats and everything else for it to pass the California smog test?

  • countryclubfl (registered bidder) 2 years, 5 monthsago

    @Silver250GT I like that one!

  • Silver250GT (seller) 2 years, 5 monthsago

    @jbeinhor Bubbling? This is not a ‘74 Gremlin. The car has been garaged since inception! Guys in prison have seen more sunlight than this car!

    @jbeinhor The car has been maintained regularly. It’s my 11th Ferrari owned so hard copies of every oil change are not as readily available. An important note is the same Ferrari tech has serviced the car from new

    @jbeinhor

  • jbeinhor (registered bidder) 2 years, 5 monthsago

    Thanks for the prompt reply. It's obviously too late to scan them, but do you have the service records from new for the car as the original owner?

  • Silver250GT (seller) 2 years, 5 monthsago

    @jbeinhor I had it in an LLC and then registered it in TN under my name

    @jbeinhor

  • jbeinhor (registered bidder) 2 years, 5 monthsago

    Why does the carfax say two owners?

  • Silver250GT (seller) 2 years, 5 monthsago

    @TeamSled They HAVEN'T said that. It would require leaving the car for a period of time to fully diagnose.

    Is the dealership saying that the dashboard light is NOT fixable?

  • Silver250GT (seller) 2 years, 5 monthsago

    @Scuddy The airbag issue, which was a result of battery failure in March and subsequent jumping of the car in a stranded situation likely lead to the light illuminating. The Ferrari certified mechanic tried to clear the fault on SD3 and another Ferrari diagnostic, but the light wouldn't go off. However, the airbag itself is in working order and I have the diagnostic screenshots.
