Now up for auction is 2009 Porsche 987 Cayman S race car. Upgraded with an MCS 3-way suspension, full Tarett suspension components, a Fabspeed race exhaust, Brembo Gran Turismo brakes and other top-of-the line modifications, this highly competitive Cayman S race car has been setup for GTB1-spec racing and is ready to be driven by a new owner. Equipped with brand-new tires and track-mandated safety equipment, this Cayman S currently resides with its seller in Florida in excellent ready-to-race condition.
This 987 is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic with custom vinyl racing graphics. Aero Catch hood latches are installed along with intake grilles and a large carbon fiber rear wing with upright attachments. Aftermarket OZ Alleggerita HLT wheels are also equipped which come dressed in brand new tires that have never been heat cycled or run at speed.
Inside, this Cayman S features a lightweight performance-oriented interior with a custom-built full roll cage. An AIM MXL2 system with SmartyCam HD2 has also been equipped which allows the driver to easily record and document their laps. Other modifications outfitted in this cockpit include:

@Hotwheels original engine, A rebuild has not been required, the engine is completely sound and in need of no maintenance.
Is that the original engine? Has it been rebuilt?

@perryn59 Thanks! The car is 2,980 pounds as it sits, and pulled 313 HP at the wheels on the dyno with 93 octane.

@Ddesimone17 I received the car as it currently sits, several parties performed the build including BGB, Mase Engineering, Pulse racing.. the original owner who performed the conversion also did much of the lighter work himself. The build is documented on RennList, I'll be happy to provide that link if you want to DM me. This car was built with an open checkbook by a seasoned P-car owner with a very deep stable.
Were you the owner responsible for the conversion and did pulse racing perform the gbt1 build ?

@badboss Sorry typo, my response should have read 38,000 miles at time of build.
@Ddesimone17 The car has 30 hours of DE time on it since the conversion at 38,000 original miles. It was serviced after every DE event by Pulse Racing in Jacksonville, FL. The car currently sits on a brand new set of sticker slicks, FabSpeed Supercup exhaust, all fresh fluids, front rotors and brake pads just prior to listing the car for sale with ZERO miles on this service.
@badboss The car was built to GTB1 spec but never ended up racing, there are no PCA log books, the car was converted to current spec at 33,000 miles and has 30 hours of DE time on it since the build.
Any maintenance records would be great to see as well and if no log book how many track hours currently
Do you have the build documentation? Can you list current milage and over-rev report?
I see the the statement that the car is GTB1 spec. is there a PCA log book with the car? or any log books from any race organizations?
