The SRT8 is the high-performance version of the third generation Dodge Challenger, equipped with a 6.1L Hemi V8 producing 425 HP, upgraded Brembo brakes, 20” Alcoa forged wheels, and a deeper front air dam with functional brake ducts. This 2009 example was ordered in Hemi Orange over a black leather and microfiber interior and was optioned with a 5-speed automatic transmission and an AM/FM/CD/DVD/HDD Uconnect radio with navigation. This Challenger was delivered new to Flemington Car & Truck Country of Flemington, New Jersey, and remains under the care of its original owner. Showing just over 10k miles on the odometer, this Challenger SRT8 is being offered at auction by its seller out of New Jersey.

The exterior is finished in Hemi Orange (PLC) with a carbon fiber style racing stripe down the hood, twin hood scoops, a black front splitter, a black rear spoiler, HID headlights, fog lights, red Brembo brake calipers, a retro-style fuel filler, and dual exhaust outlets. The seller notes some lifting on the hood stripe and minor paint chips on the body, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. The 20” Alcoa forged wheels are mounted with Goodyear tires showing signs of dry rot on the sidewalls.

The interior is upholstered in black leather with microfiber seat inserts and matching door panels. Factory equipment includes premium power-adjustable heated bucket seats with an orange stripe on the backrests and embroidered SRT insignias, a sunroof, keyless ignition, a leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel and a matching gear shifter, a trip computer/performance data reader in the instrument cluster, drilled aluminum pedals, automatic climate control, an 8-speaker Boston Acoustics audio system, and an optional Uconnect infotainment screen with navigation. The seller reports the back seat has never been used.

The Challenger SRT8 is powered by a 6.1L Hemi V8 which was factory rated at 425 HP and 420 lb.-ft of torque, equipped with a forged crankshaft and a cast aluminum intake manifold. The rear wheels are driven by a 5-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential,  allowing for acceleration from 0-60 MPH in under 5 seconds and a top speed of 170 MPH. Performance features include Bilstein monotube dampeners, front and rear anti-roll bars, and Brembo four-piston brakes with slotted rotors at all four corners. A Mopar cold air intake system has been fitted, and the seller reports that all routine maintenance was performed by a local technician including the installation of a new battery in 2021.
