Up for auction is this 2009 Mercedes-Benz W221 S63 AMG finished in Arctic White over an AMG Premium black leather interior. Based on the fifth-generation W221 S-Class, the S63 AMG was offered as the high-performance version of Mercedes’ flagship luxury sedan featuring a handbuilt 6.2L V8 engine producing over 500 HP along with larger brakes, a sport-tuned suspension, Active Body Control, and AMG-specific styling. At an original sticker price of over $144k, this 2009 example was further optioned with the Distronic Plus Package, reclining heated rear seats, Night View Assist, and a Panorama sunroof. A lifelong West Coast car, this one-owner S63 AMG is now being offered by its seller out of California with just over 54k miles on the odometer.
This S63 AMG is finished in Arctic White (650) with chrome accents around the windows, door handles, grille, fog light bezels, and rear fascia. The seller reports a few minor chips throughout the exterior, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. The S63 can be distinguished from a standard S-Class by its revised front and rear bumpers, side skirt extensions, and quad-tipped exhaust. The 2009 W221 S-Class received a facelift which introduced a new pronounced arrow-shaped grill, redesigned mirrors and LED taillights. Exterior details include bi-xenon headlights with automatic level control and heated washers, heated power auto-folding mirrors with integrated LED turn signals, and silver-painted brake calipers with black AMG script. This S63 rides on aftermarket 20” Vossen VPS-302 forged wheels dressed in Falken Azenis FK510 tires dated from 2020.
Occupants are seated within a luxurious cabin trimmed in AMG Premium black leather with dark burled walnut veneers on the dashboard, consoles, and door panels. The 14-way power-adjustable front seats feature heating and cooling functions as well as perforated leather inserts and AMG badges. The optional Rear Seat Package equips the rear compartment with heated and ventilated power-adjustable seats. The optional Distronic Plus Package also includes adaptive cruise control, parking guidance, and blind-spot assist. Other amenities include an Alcantara headliner, Night View Assist, Mercedes COMAND navigation, a 600-watt Harman Kardon 14-speaker sound system, a rear power sunshade, and remote keyless entry. All features and accessories are said to be working properly, although the seller notes intermittent issues closing the front cup holder lid.
The S63 AMG is powered by a hand-crafted 6.2L M156 V8 engine producing up to 518 HP and 465 lb.-ft of torque, which is sent to the rear wheels through a 7-speed automatic transmission. It allows the S63 to reach 60 MPH in as little as 4.6 seconds with an electronically governed top speed of 155 MPH. The S63 comes equipped with twin-sliding calipers over 13.2” cross-drilled rotors in the front and big bore single-piston calipers in the rear. The Active Body Control (ABC) system replaces standard anti-roll bars and uses a hydraulic system with sensors atop each coil spring to increase spring rates and always keep the vehicle level. The car has enjoyed a lifetime of dealer maintenance with a recent brake and transmission service performed by Mercedes-Benz of Scottsdale, Arizona.

I had the dealer pull the records which BTW I have a copy of full service records, they said not all cars were effected, this car was not on thier list and no records of bolts being done, thats what I was told by the local Mercedes dealer.

Just wanted everyone to know that I just dropped the reserve, Lots of car here, Real AMG Beast, full option car, as seen on build sheet, as I just mentioned the member I will be doing a service for the new owner before the car leaves, shops are super busy these days and I cant have just any shop do the serivce, it has to be one of my Reputable Mercedes shops.
I'm sure it will exceed new ownre expectations, the wheels are worth a lot, if you get the car and don't like them, you will easily be able to cover the cost of new or Re-man factory wheels and tires by selling this set, no Junky wheels here, as mentioned before these are made by VOSSEN wheels, they do High quality Forged wheels and thats the set we have here. The ABC doesnt seem to have any issues, batteries are good, no fault, I would do a sevice for the new owner before the car leaves, oil chnage and a once over, most likely the service E that the car is saying it's close. brakes are good all around, tires are pretry new since the privious onwer just spent the crazy amount of money on these wheels. Lots of car for the money but i'm sure you know that already, if we don't get the car sold thru this auction it may just become my daily driver, I've taken it out 3 times and every time I like the car more and more. So, even tho I just dropped the Reserve by a good chunk I won't be heart broken if no sale.
Any problems with ABC hydraulic suspension, bad leaking struts/ any issues with ABC pump? Any issues with motor mounts ; how much thickness is left on the rotors, pads. what service items do you see having to be done? thanks

Just wanted to point that that the Forged wheels on the car are made by VOSSEN wheel company, they specialize in Custom Forged wheels, very high quality, typical set of wheels from these guys cost about $8-10K.
