Now up for auction is this 2009 Mercedes-Benz R230 SL600 finished in Black over a black leather interior with wood veneers. Representing the final SL600 generation built by Mercedes with an original sticker price of over $146k, this 2009 example features extensive factory options as well as a twin-turbocharged V12 engine offering over 500 HP at the rear wheels. Remaining in superb overall condition under the care of its 2nd owner in Maine, this SL600 is now being offered with approximately 22k miles shown on the odometer.

The SL600 carries a twin-turbocharged 5.5 L V12 engine rated at 510 HP and 612 lb.-ft of torque from the factory. The rear wheels are driven by way of an AMG Speedshift 5-Speed automatic transmission allowing for a 0-60 time of approximately 3.6 seconds. Factory performance features include adaptive suspension with Active Body Control (ABC), a variable-ratio steering system, and selectable drive modes including Comfort, Sport, and Manual. The left front strut and trunk hatch relay have been replaced under the current ownership and all scheduled maintenance is said to have been kept up to date including a full service earlier in 2020.

NICE UPGRADE FROM MY 2005 SL55 AMG. Does not need the AMG badge to beat the power and torque of my car. May be my time to Buy this'n and sell mine. Prefer white cars, but they are super rare, as black is by far the most popular color. Only problem is finding your black car in the dark. Good contrast to snow, though.

I do not have a lift to take pictures of the undercarriage. And I'm 72 and crawling under a car is not easy for me to do and I'm not that savvy on taking videos
