This 997.2 is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic with a black power-operated convertible roof. Equipment includes optional Dynamic Cornering bi-xenon headlamps, fog lights, LED taillights, rain-sensing wipers, heated power mirrors, a speed-activated rear spoiler, quad exhaust outlets, and red brake calipers mounted behind optional 19” Turbo wheels. The seller notes the rear clamshell and fenders were refinished due to scratches caused by a faulty convertible top which has since been repaired. Two small imperfections are also noted on the front bumper. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a CARFAX report showing severe damage in 2010.

Here are detailed pictures of the rear structure of the car. The pictures from the engine bay are the rear frame rails. It's a little hard to see from the pictures, but they are laser straight. I also took both rear wheels and wheel well liners off. I decreased the area before I took most of the pictures. There is one picture of each side before cleaning.

@TomSesto - I would have no reservations about driving this across the country. It runs great. There are no issues and everything works as it should. Title is clean and clear, and there is no frame damage that I can see. In fact, I don't see any signs of prior repairs to any of the underlying structure.
Happy Thanksgiving. Assume this is on reserve. What else is problematic with the 996? Is it driveable cross-country to LA. Is it presently smogged and licensed in FLA - looks like it is? Assume it was not bought at salvage and that there was no frame damage? Fill us in or the car's problems, both big and small, other than a severe, non-salvage accident over a decade ago and some 20,000 miles back?

@cdoggyd - I don't have any info on the 2010 accident. Having sold Porsches for 20 years, my familiarity with these cars is extensive. I conducted a thorough inspection when I bought it. The repair was done well. There are no signs that anything ever happened there. The car is available for a PPI if anyone wants to have one done. Are there any photos, repair receipts, or other info about the severe damage accident in 2010? That info and a PPI report could really help here.
