The GranTurismo was designed by Pininfarina and assembled in Modena, Italy, representing Maserati’s flagship sports car from 2007-2019. The graceful lines are complemented by an aggressive tone from a Ferrari-derived 4.2-liter V8 engine. This 2010 example comes finished in Grigio Granito Metallic over a Rosso Corallo full leather interior. The 2010 GranTurismo models gained minor cosmetic enhancements to the Pininfarina-designed bodywork, including more aggressively flared rocker panels. This example is finished in Grigio Granito Metallic with red anodized brake calipers fitted behind the optional 20” Birdcage mercury alloy wheels dressed in Riken Raptor tires. Only minor paint imperfections are noted, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin features full Rosso Corallo leather with piano black wood trim and accent stitching. The entranceways are lined with chrome Maserati script doorsills and the headrests are embossed with the trident emblem. The multifunction three-spoke steering wheel features paddle shifters and perforated leather grips, sitting ahead of the traditional blue-faced instrument dials. The carpets are contrasted by red stitching to match. Additional equipment includes heated and power-adjustable front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, and optional parking sensors.
The GranTurismo equips a Ferrari-derived naturally aspirated 4.2-liter V8 engine rated at 405 HP and 339 lb.-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven by way of a 6-speed ZF automatic transmission providing acceleration from 0-60 MPH in approximately 5 seconds. A long history of maintenance is shown on the CARFAX with much of the service carried out by authorized dealers.
