Combining an open-air driving experience and flat-six power, the 987.2 generation Porsche Boxster S debuted with updated styling cues and a more potent fuel-injected engine. This 2010 example comes finished in Black over a matching standard leather interior and features a 6-speed manual transmission, Bi-Xenon headlights with Dynamic Cornering, Porsche-crested headrests, and more. Showing just under 55k miles on the odometer, this example is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Texas.
This Boxster S comes finished in Black with a matching retractable soft top. As part of the mid-cycle update, the 987.2 featured new headlights and LED taillights, larger front air intakes with incorporated daytime running lights, and a revised lower rear fascia with twin diffusers. Bi-Xenon headlamps with Dynamic Cornering were opted for, and a set of aftermarket wheels have been mounted with Michelin tires from 2022. The seller notes the front bumper was refinished due to signs of road wear, and paint protection film has been applied to half of the hood and ahead of the rear fenders. Inside, this Boxster features a Black standard leather interior with optional heated seats, Porsche-crested headrests, a wind deflector, and self-dimming mirrors with rain sensors. A storage box on the engine cover was additionally opted for, and the seller adds that an aftermarket Alpine head unit with Apple CarPlay has been installed.
This 987.2 Boxster S is equipped with a naturally aspirated 3.4-liter flat-six engine featuring direct fuel injection and an output of up to 310 HP and 265 lb.-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven by way of a 6-speed manual transmission which allows the Boxster S to accelerate from 0-60 MPH in under 5 seconds on to a top speed of approximately 170 MPH. The CARFAX report shows a total of 13 service history records including an oil change carried out in August 2023. No outstanding maintenance items have been reported.

Very nice 987.2. I have owned a 2002 986s 3.2 and a 2017 987.1s 3.4 and both were extremely fun and reliable cars. Yours looks like a great example. Knowing the IMS issues were resolved in the 987.2 model years should ease the fear some buyers may have even thou previous years had a fairly low reported percentage of failures. GLWS...
