The last mid-engine Ferrari to feature a naturally aspirated V8, the 458 Italia marked a significant milestone for Ferrari’s road-going sports cars with its advanced aerodynamics, 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, electronic differential, adaptive suspension, and carbon-ceramic brakes. This 2011 example has been modified with over $75k worth of high-end aftermarket parts including a 458 Speciale-style hood, a Prior Design front bumper and splitter, a Darwin Pro rear bumper, side skirts, carbon fiber diffuser and rear spoiler, Vossen M-X1 Patina Gold forged wheels, Novitec lowering springs, a Fabspeed Valvetronic race exhaust, an ECU tune, and color-matched interior trim. Showing just over 12k miles on the odometer, this highly customized Ferrari 458 Italia is now being offered at auction by its owner out of Florida.
This 458 comes finished in traditional Rosso Corsa (322) preserved under clear protective film and a ceramic coating. A Speciale-style hood was painted and installed under prior ownership while the custom Prior Design front bumper and carbon fiber front splitter were fitted by the current owner along with Darwin Pro carbon fiber side skirts, carbon fiber rear diffuser with Rosso Corsa accents, and tinted taillights. The original front bumper, side skirts, and rear bumper are said to be included with the sale, as well as a set of 20” factory black wheels that were previously installed. The car rides on a set of custom 20”/21” Vossen M-X1 forged wheels finished in Patina Gold with Michelin Pilot Sport tires from 2017.
The interior is upholstered in tan leather with a black dashboard and carpets, contrasting red stitching, and custom Rosso Corso painted trim pieces on the steering wheel, dashboard, center console, door handles, and rev counter. The seller reports all sticky buttons were removed and repaired at a cost of over $3k. Amenities include drilled aluminum pedals, a rearview camera, automatic climate control, heated power seats, a navigation system, and Bluetooth connectivity. The tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) warning light is present as the sensors are in need of replacement.
The 458 Italia is powered by a naturally aspirated direct-injected 4.5L F136 V8 that produces up to 560 HP and 398 lb.-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven through a Getrag 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and E-Diff electronic limited-slip differential. Acceleration from 0-60 MPH is achieved in as little as 3 seconds with a top speed of over 200 MPH. Modifications include a Fabspeed Valvetronic race exhaust system, an ECU tune performed by an Italian car specialist, and Novitec lowering springs. The stock exhaust system is said to be included in the sale. A maintenance inspection was performed in April of 2022 at Ferrari of Fort Lauderdale along with an oil service. The car is said to have only ever required standard routine maintenance under the current ownership.
This sale will include a clean title (lien), owner’s books, a car cover, a battery charging system, and the original front bumper, side skirts, rear bumper, and factory exhaust.

Sometimes when i don't see it for a while then come back from a month away im like "damn looks insane." Same feeling I get every time I hear it ? @BarryLe Sounds good Barry! The hood is like my personal insecurity. I have invested a few $$ since I purchased it to get it as aligned as can be. The simple solution would be to purchase a new prior design hood in hopes if it aligning better... But when doing further digging I had found that completely stock cars can see this issue sometimes as well. A few months ago I almost purchased a new Speciale hood in hopes of it solving it all but who knows. When I purchased it I didn't even realize it was misaligned, but after washing on my own the first time I saw it! It was totally different back then. Now you can barely tell unless you are really looking. So it doesn't personally bother me that much anymore. No one in person has been able to point it out. Definitely doesn't mean it doesn't bother me. It does. It's really the only part of the car I can find a flaw in. Easy fix though. It's just a matter of which hood would you want to replace it with or if you want to invest into the existing hood. The cost is not much considering the gain. To me, the overall presence of the car is unlike any mid engine F I have seen. I am very passionate about this one.
@PorscheGuy32 as Ferrari once told me (and my business is in Italy) "its handmade, what do you expect" ? True story. It was less aligned when I got it. I actually spent some added resources $$ to get it as aligned as possible. In the ferrari chats theres a lot of topics on this and mainly with the stock hood.
Whiter35gtr: I think your F car is beautiful. I love the new front end and the new rear end. The front hood, however, does look misaligned in the pictures. Can you comment on that? I live in Boca and I will contact you to see the car.

@PorscheGuy32 I don't have any losses my friend. I would incur a loss of time and money by putting it back to stock and trying to sell parts. If it doesn't meet the reserve I am fine with that as well. No stress ?
@whiter35gtr Put back to stock and try to sell parts, probably best way to cover your losses. I am pretty sure this will not meet your reserve.
@PorscheGuy32 Totally with you on the mods/cost. At the end of the day its like buying a house with not a lot of upgrades for X or buying one with a bunch of upgrades then doing more to them after closing. Its a different strategy if you are doing it as an investment or doing it for you. Thats the way I see it. I have an auction going for my 997.2 gt3 That one is essentially stock. Some I let the stock look be, others I like to modify. I have all the factory parts and I could have easily turned it back to stock but the cost of that is the difference it would sell for anyways if not more. This is all assuming theres no one out there that wants a modified 458 looking like this. Most highly modified ones have been in a accident. At least mine is very clean.
@whiter35gtr @whiter35gtr. Good luck to you. My logic is the $$ that you put into the car with mods and what you actually would get if you sold it stock.. Cost yourself lots of $$$. Still a great example for someone who likes 488's but wants a 458.
@PorscheGuy32 Thanks for the love ? Stock is easy. Anyone can have stock. This is something I chose to do for me, and not for others. This car will end up going to someone who has been following it for a while and is into personalization. There are plenty of stock 458s available.
