Equipped with a direct fuel-injected 3.8-liter flat-six engine and a 7-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) transmission, this 2011 Porsche 997.2 Carrera S Coupe is presented in Platinum Silver Metallic over a Black full leather interior. At an original sticker price of over $109k, the car features optional heated and ventilated 12-way power seats, deviated leather seat centers, Sport Chrono Package Plus, the Comfort Package, Infotainment Package, BOSE Surround Sound System, self-dimming mirrors, and an aluminum-look instrument surround. It has also been modified with a Porsche Macan Alcantara steering wheel, aftermarket 19” Fikse three-piece wheels, and a Sharkwerks center muffler delete. This 997.2 was sold new in Arizona where it remained until 2013 before moving to Washington and eventually Oregon in 2023. Owned by the seller’s father for the past two years, this Carrera S is now being offered for auction by the selling dealer with under 63k miles showing on the odometer.
This Carrera S is finished in Platinum Silver Metallic and features bi-xenon headlights, fog lights, LED taillights, auto-dimming power mirrors, rain-sensing wipers, an electric sunroof, a speed-activated rear spoiler, quad exhaust tips, and red Porsche-branded brake calipers. The car rides on aftermarket 19” Fikse three-piece wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires showing 2019 production date codes at the rear and 2022 in front. The seller notes the wheels were resealed and the exterior underwent full paint correction and ceramic coating in 2024. Additionally, paint protection film has been applied to the hood and front fenders. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The Black full leather interior features optional heated and ventilated 12-way power seats with deviated grey centers, an aluminum-look instrument surround, and an Alcantara-wrapped Macan steering wheel with paddle shifters. The original leather steering wheel is included in the sale. Other accessories include automatic climate control, cruise control, Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with extended navigation, the BOSE Surround Sound System, and a Sport Chrono dashboard stopwatch. The seller notes the leather has been treated with a conditioner annually.
Producing up to 385 HP and 310 lb.-ft of torque, the direct fuel-injected 3.8-liter flat-six engine drives the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission. A Sharkwerks center muffler bypass has been installed for increased exhaust sound. The optional Sport Chrono Package Plus enables a launch control mode as well as Sport and Sport Plus settings for the drivetrain and Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) dampers. The seller indicates an oil change and PDK service has been recently completed and there are no outstanding maintenance items.
This sale will include the original steering wheel, owner’s manuals, a car cover, and a clean title (lien).

If the car needs a 60k service, modtly PDK, why does the listing ad state: "The seller indicates an oil change and PDK service has been recently completed and there are no outstanding maintenance items." Am I missing something?

@Paddle911 that is correct. It will need a 60k service. Which is mostly pdk service.
I am unclear in regard to your answer to jmorin's question about the 60k service. Are you saying the car has only had three oil changes since you have owned it and the 60k service has not been done? I did not see any specific mention of a 60k service on the carfax. Thanks.

@Flywheel911 unfortunately I won't be able to post those kind of videos before the auction ends as I'm out of town picking up car. It is not currently a daily driver but I would have zero concerns daily driving it or driving is across country tomorrow. There are zero issues or needs that this car has. Only need is a new garage to call home. Only reason for the sale is my dad has retired and spends his summers traveling and winters in MX. I currently start the car and take it for a long drive once a month.
Also, is this a current daily driver and do you think it could be a current daily driver? Any issues or concerns, possible issues in the future the next owner should be privy to?

@Jessannjoh just in the factory rocker ppf. Car used to have lower door stripes that were removed when the paint correction took place.
In Photo 21 and Photo 23. Is the discoloration in the PPF or is it all the way through the paint?

@jmorin the front ppf was applied last year. I do not have a paint meter but I can see if someone can do it for me today.
@zeingred Sorry, a couple more questions. When was the paint protection film applied? I would assume after the paint correction, but it looks like it's been on there a while. Are you able to provide any paint meter readings?
