Now available for auction is this modified 2012 Cadillac CTS-V Sport Wagon finished in Crystal Red Tintcoat over a Light Titan leather interior.  Cadillac’s answer to the popular high-performance estate cars of the European market, the CTS-V Wagon is equipped with a supercharged 6.2L V8 engine rated at over 550 HP stock.  This example remained under the care of its original owner up until earlier in 2021 and features some tasteful modifications including a custom performance tune, Mont Motorsports Stage 2 kit, Eibach lowering springs, a Corsa exhaust system, an Escort integrated radar detector, and 20” HRE wheels.  Now with approximately 65k-miles showing on the odometer, this CTS-V is being offered for auction by its second owner out of Georgia.

This example is finished in Crystal Red Tintcoat and was recently treated to a professional paint correction and ceramic coating.  The seller reports one small scuff on the lower portion of the right front bumper, detailed images are provided in the photo gallery along with a clean CARFAX.  The chrome exterior trim was recently covered with gloss black vinyl wrap.  The CTS-V Wagon is distinguished by its aggressive side skirts, front lip, and rear spoiler.  This Wagon rides on aftermarket 20” HRE wheels dressed in new Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires installed within the last 1k-miles.

Inside, you will find a Light Titan leather interior with factory power-adjustable Recaro front bucket seats.  Other factory features include front seat heating and ventilation, Keyless Access Passive Entry, a keyless start switch, rear park assist, rear vision camera, and a stereo system with Bluetooth and satellite radio compatibility.  An integrated Escort radar detector system has been installed and the seller reports all gauges and accessories to be in proper working order.  An image of the original window sticker is provided in the photo gallery.

This CTS-V is equipped with a supercharged 6.2L LSA V8 engine that sends power to the rear wheels through a 6-speed automatic gearbox.  In its stock configuration, this engine is capable of generating as much as 556 HP and 551 lb.-ft of torque.  Modifications made to this example include an AirRaid cold air intake, Cora axle-back exhaust system, a custom performance engine/transmission tune, Eibach Pro lowering springs, and a Mont Motorsports Stage 2 kit which includes a C&R Racing heat exchanger and upgraded pulleys.  The supercharger was serviced by a GM dealer under warranty in 2017, and the differential fluid was changed in addition to an oil service in 2020.  The seller indicates that a fresh standard service will be carried out by a Chevy/GM dealer in preparation for sale.

This sale will include a set of two keys (one of which needs a new battery and programming), owner’s manuals, the original window sticker, and a clean title.  A unique high-performance wagon with upgraded performance and enhanced styling, this CTS-V is just waiting for its next owner to get behind the wheel.

@yags if you want to send me a PM I’ll shoot them over to you if I can from there, but this being my first time auctioning one off on this site I can’t seem to figure out how to post photos in the comments or upload more photos to the ad. I sent an email to the gentleman that created the listing for me I’m sure he’ll provide me with a link to put them up in the morning for everyone else to see.

  • Cody_fred (seller) 3 yearsago

@Yags the previous owner had a front tag, I took it off and he didn’t have the plastic paint matched piece it originally goes in the hole. I’ll post the picture of the vin plate for you and the invoice from the wheels and tires so you can see a date and price. I can ask the original owner for some receipts from the mods but if he didn’t send them originally I’m betting he probably didn’t keep them.

  • Yags (registered bidder) 3 yearsago

That explains why the wheels looked so mint! Can you snap a photo of the vin tag on the drivers side door jamb showing the manufacture date? Also do you have records for the mods wheels tires exhaust and etc? Why is the front bumper toe hook plug missing? Thanks

  • Cody_fred (seller) 3 yearsago

@Yags wheels and tires were put on 03/01/21 and probably have less than 600 miles on them. Mods were done in 2017. If you want to put it back to stock pulleys and belt I’ll give them to you. As far as the rest of the mods go I do not have the OEM parts (heat exchanger etc)

  • Yags (registered bidder) 3 yearsago

I really like this car and the HRE wheels, do you have any idea of how old the wheels are and when the mods where done? By the way that is not the original GM window sticker, it looks like a dealer generated replacement.

@Niteroi Hey there, I can include the original springs I have them in the box that the aftermarket ones were shipped in. I can procure a set of OEM wheels for the buyer if they would like to have those in place of the HRE’s. I work For GM. But I do not have a set to go along with the sale of the vehicle.

  • Niteroi (registered bidder) 3 yearsago

Seller, does it come with the original wheels and springs?
    Stunning wagon!

  • Cody_fred (seller) 3 yearsago

Hello there to everyone, if you have any questions feel free to send a message or leave a comment I’m quite sure I’ll be able to respond in a timely manor. This is a very special vehicle and is one of the better looking wagons of the very few that are out there. I purchased it with the intent on keeping it a few months ago but simply can’t shake my itch for a 996 turbo so I need to make room. Good luck to all and stay safe everyone.
