Now available is this 2012 Porsche 997.2 Turbo S Cabriolet finished in Black over a two-tone Black and Cream full leather interior. The range-topping flagship model of the 997 generation, this Turbo S Cabriolet commanded an original sticker price of over $177k with several options from Porsche’s Exclusive Department including clear taillights, Porsche crested headrests, and 19” 911 Turbo II wheels painted to match the exterior. It came equipped as standard with the Sport Chrono Package and Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) and has been further enhanced with an upgraded Sharkwerks exhaust system and K&N performance air filters. This nicely optioned Turbo S is now being offered for auction out of New Jersey with approximately 20k miles showing on the odometer.
This Turbo S comes finished in nonmetallic Black with exclusive clear taillight lenses and 19” 911 Turbo II wheels in a color-matched finish. The paint is described to be in very good condition overall with a few small imperfections on the rear bumper. CARFAX shows an accident to have occurred in 2016 and a recent True360 inspection found only very minor cosmetic repairs present. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with the full CARFAX and True360 reports. This 997.2 rides on a set of brand-new Pirelli P Zero tires.
Inside, this Cabriolet sports a two-tone Black and Cream full leather interior accented by decorative stitching and bright silver trim. Factory options include 12-way heated and ventilated front seats with Porsche crested headrests, the ParkAssist System (rear), and a SiriusXM satellite radio tuner. The seller notes very few signs of wear are present and that all features and accessories remain fully functional.
This 997.2 is equipped with a twin-turbocharged 3.8L flat-six engine rated at 530 HP and 516 lb.-ft of torque stock. All four wheels are driven through a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission which allows the Turbo S to accelerate from 0-60 MPH in approximately 3 seconds. The Sport Chrono Package and Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) were equipped from the factory and the car has been modified with a high-flow Sharkwerks exhaust system and a set of K&N performance air filters. Recent service carried out in preparation for sale includes an oil and filter change as well as mounting and balancing of four new tires with new tire pressure monitoring sensors (TPMS). To fellow Porsche buyers Thai’s is one of the best 911s the 997.2 turbo S is a beast of a car having the same exactly car I have to tell you just change oil often and step on it you will love it ..
PS ..go with a lighter freer muffler if you can
