The ultimate version of Porsche’s 997.2 Carrera, the GTS features a more powerful 3.8-liter flat-six engine along with center-lock wheels, premium Alcantara upholstery, and several performance upgrades including Porsche Sports Exhaust and PASM suspension. This 2012 Carrera 4 Coupe version comes finished in Carrara White and features an optional Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) transmission, Sport Chrono Package Plus, and Bose Surround Sound System. Cared for by three owners since new and with just under 29k miles showing on the odometer, this Carrera 4 GTS is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New York.
This 997.2 comes finished in Carrara White with optional Bi-Xenon headlamps and 19” RS Spyder center-lock wheels in black. The all-wheel-drive Carrera 4 version is distinguishable from a standard Carrera GTS by the unique reflector band between the taillights. The finish has been preserved with clear paint protection film over the full front end, rockers, mirrors, and side skirts. The wheels have been ceramic coated and dressed in a set of Bridgestone Potenza tires. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with paint meter readings and a clean CARFAX report.
The Black leather GTS interior features Alcantara upholstery on the seat centers, door panels, and steering wheel. Optional equipment includes heated front seats, the Bose Surround Sound System, Navigation Module, and SiriusXM satellite radio tuner. The seller describes the cabin to be in very good condition with minimal signs of wear and all accessories remaining fully functional.
This GTS is equipped with a naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine rated at 408 HP, an increase of 23 HP over the standard Carrera S. All four wheels are driven through an optional 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission. Porsche Sports Exhaust (PSE), Porsche Traction Management (PTM), and Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) are equipped as standard on the GTS, while this example also features optional Sport Chrono Package Plus allowing acceleration from 0-60 MPH in as little as 4 seconds. The CARFAX report shows preemptive 60k and 70k mile services performed by Porsche of Annapolis, Maryland as well as the most recent service at Porsche Gold Coast of New York in April of 2022.
