Up for auction is this 2012 Porsche 997 Turbo Coupe finished in black over a black leather interior. The seller acquired this car on a PCARMARKET auction earlier this year and is now selling the car with just 35k miles on the odometer. It is currently stored in a climate controlled environment and is being auctioned in excellent condition.
The all-original black exterior paint is stated to be in excellent condition with very minor wear. Please view the photo gallery for a true depiction of this vehicle’s exterior condition. Bringing the already stellar look of this Turbo to a new level are a few professionally-installed upgrades including: custom rocker panels, front lip, fender lips, and a carbon fiber upper window spoiler. Finishing this look are a set of original 19" Turbo wheels that wear new tires.
Inside, you will find an extremely well-kept black full leather interior. The original MSRP of nearly $150k included exclusive options such as heated/ventilated seats, heated steering wheel, Porsche crests in head rests, Sport Chrono Package, and more. Power comes from a twin turbocharged 3.8 L engine that produces approximately 500HP and 480 lb-ft of torque. To handle the power, this Porsche is equipped with a 7-Speed PDK transmission, providing lightning fast automatic or paddle shift gear changing. From factory, this Turbo is equipped with dynamic engine mounts which make for a sportier ride and slight boost in performance over other Turbos on the road. A recent 30k service was performed and the vehicle is said to be in excellent running condition.

@Forevertray I feel bad for the seller if selling under duress. The 997 body is very impressive and in my opinion is classic 911. My only issue is the PDK. Fortunately Porsche now has the auto fire clutch for those not liking the fear of stalling out with a manual. Hopefully this car goes for a lot more. Sorry @crafty1air this car has an outrageous engine.
For what it’s worth.... I know the owner and have seen the car. Obviously this is not a place to discuss personal issues but he did not plan or want to sell this car. The car is everything you want it to be and more. It will certainly make the new owner super happy. Best to all.

@jkinne hi and thank you for the comments/interest. I am selling the car for personal reasons. It is a fantastic automobile and am not happy to be parting with it. I would prefer not to consider this a "flip" since I have put the reserve at less than my purchase price which in my opinion presents an excellent opportunity for a serious buyer. I looked at many that were for sale and this one checked out with flying colors. Best of luck.

We understand your confusion on the photos, as stated in the listing, the seller purchased the car on PCARMARKET previously. Since the first photo shoot was done so well we used many of the photos and added in some from the day that the listing went live to show that the condition has not changed. Pics 61-63 are for vehicles OTHER than this auction. Also, is there a reason for having separate pics both with and without license plates taken at different locations? Are underbody shots available? I know it’s Christmas, but the current $5K price seems as though I must be missing something here about this car that other, more informed individuals must know about - comments?
