The first-generation Porsche Cayman was updated to the 987.2 version for the 2009 model year featuring a more powerful engine, revised styling, and the option of a new 7-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) transmission. This 2012 Porsche Cayman is finished in Carrara White over a Black interior and comes equipped with an optional 7-speed PDK transmission, heated and ventilated seats, Porsche-crested headrests, 19” SportDesign wheels, Infotainment Package, Sound Package Plus, a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, automatic climate control, Bi-Xenon headlights, and more. It was registered in New Jersey up until the seller’s recent purchase and is now being offered for auction out of Illinois with approximately 25k miles on the odometer.
An evolution of the Cayman’s original design, the updated 987.2 version received new headlights, taillights, and a revised front and rear fascia. This 2012 example is finished in Carrara White and features optional Bi-Xenon headlights, daytime running lights, headlamp washers, front fog lights, side air intakes, a speed-activated rear spoiler, and a center-mounted exhaust outlet. The Black interior includes optional heated and ventilated leather seats, Porsche crest embossed headrests, a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, automatic climate control, auto-dimming mirrors, a rain sensor, Sound Package Plus, Infotainment Package, Convenience Package, Porsche Communication Management (PCM), Navigation Module, and a SiriusXM satellite radio tuner.
A mid-mounted 2.9-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 265 HP and 221 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 7-speed PDK transmission. Porsche Stability Management (PSM) is equipped as well as four-piston brakes paired with cross-drilled rotors at each corner. The CARFAX report shows 14 service history records, and that the car was sold as a Porsche-Approved Certified Pre-Owned vehicle in September 2022. The most recent documented service was completed at Porsche Princeton in October 2022 including two new tires and a serpentine belt replacement.
This sale will include a window sticker, owner’s manuals, and a clean title.

@AceMotorworks sorry, but what about the other part of my question - I'm assuming they are summer tires and not all seasons. Just trying to decide if I win the auction whether I can drive it home or need to ship it.

The paint looks great, but boy has that PPF yellowed. Seller I see in one of the photos that the tires are Potenzas. Can you confirm weather these are summer or all season tires and provide date codes for all 4. Thank you.
