Making a groundbreaking debut in 2008, the Ferrari California is the brand’s first model to feature a front-mounted V8 engine and a folding hardtop roof system. This 2013 example is an updated “California 30” model finished in Blu Tour de France over Cuoio leather upholstery. It was configured at an original cost of over $254k including electric Daytona-style sport seats with Blue Scuro piping and Alcantara stripes, a yellow rev counter, blue seatbelts, a carbon fiber steering wheel with LEDs, leather A-pillars, 20” diamond forged wheels, yellow brake calipers, Scuderia fender shields, the Special Handling Package, and more. Cared for by three owners and with just over 9k miles on the odometer, this California is being offered for auction out of Massachusetts.

This Ferrari is finished in the desirable paint color of Blu Tour de France and equipped with optional Scuderia fender shields, yellow brake calipers, a heat-insulating windscreen, electrochromic mirrors, front and rear parking sensors, and exterior sport grilles. Other equipment includes fender vents, a hood scoop, an integrated boot lid spoiler, stacked quad-tipped exhaust pipes, a power-folding hardtop, AFS headlamps, and 20” diamond forged wheels. New Michelin Pilot Sport N3 tires were mounted in 2021 at 7,100 miles. Aftermarket carbon fiber trim has been added to the rear license plate surround, a ceramic coating is applied, and clear paint protection film covers the full exterior except for the roof and trunk lid. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

The cabin is appointed with Cuoio leather upholstery complemented by a Blu Scuro dashboard, steering wheel, seat piping, and Alcantara seat inserts. Other details include a carbon fiber trimmed steering wheel with LED shift lights, a yellow rev counter, blue seatbelts, blue stitched headrest emblems, leather A-pillars, electric Daytona sport seats, aluminum pedals, an aluminum passenger footrest, dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, a digital driver information screen, and an infotainment system with a touchscreen display and navigation. A carbon fiber center console was added after delivery.

Introduced in 2012, the updated Ferrari California 30 model produces 30 more horsepower and weighs 30 kilograms less than the original California. The naturally aspirated 4.3-liter V8 engine delivers up to 483 HP and 372 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. Standard equipment includes Ferrari’s F1-Trac traction control system and Brembo brake calipers with carbon ceramic discs at all four corners. This example also features the Special Handling Package which includes a quicker steering ratio, stiffer springs, and more responsive MagneRide magnetorheological dampers. The seller states all routine services are up to date, the fluids and filters are fresh, and a transmission speed sensor was replaced by a Ferrari dealer in August 2021.

This sale will include owner’s manuals, a window sticker, a toolkit, a tire inflator, a Ferrari-approved no-drill front license plate mount, and a clean title.

The seller would like you to know: “I am the seller's agent for this exceptional Ferrari California. It is stunning in every aspect. I acquired it for the current owner in 2020 as a must-have for him...in this particular color combination and condition. It is the last of the normally aspirated Cali's...pre-T. He is an enthusiast and very particular with maintenance and care. It is time for him to move on to another and make room in the barn...no other reason. I am very proud to represent it in the resale market as the nicest 2013 California available in the US.”

@BarryLe again, I appreciate your input and everyone has an opinion. Personally, I prefer the normally aspirated variant...this being the last MY for the Cali.

  • NHCarguy (seller) 3 weeksago

@BarryLe thanks for your input Barry.

I own a Cali T and a Portofino. I cabin say from a lot of experience that this is beautiful California!!! But, it is a California, not a California a T. The California T which followed this model a year later is a far better Ferrari in every way. The current bid is over market but justified by the mileage and condition of this Cali. The seller should let it go.

  • frontrowfan (registered bidder) 4 weeksago

@NHCarguy so forgive me for my lack of understanding, are you letting us know at all of the buttons are working in the console and that there are no issues with any stickiness?

  • NHCarguy (seller) 4 weeks, 1 dayago

@timmy1974 as a follow up to your question...the "sticky buttons" in the center console are new as part of the upgrade to carbon fiber. Others are fine and function as they should.

  • NHCarguy (seller) 4 weeks, 1 dayago

@Mk sorry for the delayed response. It has parking sensors F&R, but NO backup camera. But then again, neither does a fighter jet :) Cheers!

  • Mk (registered bidder) 4 weeks, 1 dayago

Does this have a backup camera I had this year but I can’t remember if it was a special option

Were there no problems between Aug, 2021 and April of 2023, when it looks like the car was last serviced? Any issues now, that are of concern?

  • NHCarguy (seller) 1 monthago

@timmy1974 thanks for your question...no sticky buttons. All function as they should.

Greetings PCarmarket watchers and bidders. I am very pleased to offer this gorgeous 2013 Ferrari California for my private client. We acquired it for him in 2020 and he has done an exceptional job with maintenance and care. It is currently in a climate controlled garage and only driven on bright, sunny, warm and dry days. This color combination (IMO) is the absolute best for the model. It is a no excuse example that will be enjoyed by the next owner. I stand ready and able to answer questions and comments, Please feel free to private message me if you prefer. Bid often and bid to win. Thank you for your participation.
