The 997.2 Porsche 911 Turbo, revealed at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show, featured updated styling, a more powerful twin-turbocharged engine, and the option of a new 7-speed PDK transmission, cementing its status as a top performer on the road. finished in Platinum Silver Metallic over Black full leather upholstery, this 2013 Cabriolet example also features heated & ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, Bi-Xenon headlamps with Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus (PDLS), the Sport Chrono Package, a painted lower rear apron, and more. Showing approximately 32k miles on the odometer, this Turbo is now being offered for auction by its seller out of North Carolina.
This 997.2 Turbo is finished in Platinum Silver Metallic with a grey convertible top and an optional painted spoiler lip, lower rear apron, & matching side skirts. Bi-Xenon headlamps including Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus (PDLS) were also selected, in addition to 19” Turbo II wheels with colored Porsche crests. The car rides on Continental Extreme Contact Sport tires, and the seller adds that an extra set of used tires will accompany the sale. Paint protection film has been applied, with one small patch noted on the front bumper. Additional images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is appointed with Black full leather and features optional Porsche-crested headrests, a Porsche-crested storage bin lid in leather, and a PDK gear selector gate surround in leather. Other options include heated & ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, illuminated door entry guards in Carbon, and the Sport Chrono Package which adds a stopwatch dial atop the dashboard. All gauges, electronics, and accessories are reported to be operational. Occasionally, the headlight alignment fault warning illuminates, though it does not impact the functionality of the headlights.
The twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter flat-six engine sends up to 500 HP and 480 lb.-ft of torque to all four wheels by way of a 7-speed PDK transmission. Equipped with the optional Sport Chrono Package Turbo which provides a temporary period of overboost, the 997.2 Turbo Coupe was quoted with an original 0-60 time of 3.2 seconds. The CARFAX report shows a total of 9 service history entries.

Tires were mounted 11/02/20. Looking at the log book they have 11k miles on them. Rears are about 1/8th above the tread bar and the fronts are a bit more than that. I’m uploading the receipt where they were mounted.

Brakes and rotors still good. Less than 32k miles on them. Replaced the brake fluid about two years ago.

No wrecks and no sign of rear damage. The tips are original equipment. The tips are chrome and the paint has a lot of metal in it. I suspect it’s light and angles.
Is there any sign of a rear impact? The passenger exhaust tip appears to be mis-aligned? Possibly aftermarket exhaust at some point?

Yes. All 30k major maintenance was completed last year except spark plug change. All 5 units, engine, rear differential, PDK, front AWD controller front differential and all minor maintenance. There have been no repairs to the car, other than battery change, since I have owned the car.

Thanks for the question! It is a common issue with the bidirectional headlights on models that have them. The easiest fix is to replace the headlight. The headlights are one unit and easy to unplug one plug in the new.
Is the headlight alignment fault a know issue with the 997.2? Is there an easy fix?
