Up for auction is this 2014 Aston Martin Vanquish presented in the sinister combination of Onyx Black over an Obsidian Black full leather interior. Offered as Aston Martin’s flagship model, this second-generation Vanquish is equipped with a 5.9 L V12 engine rated at over 560 HP. With an original sticker price of over $300k, this Vanquish is also optioned with contrast stitching, headrest embroideries, an Alcantara One-77 steering wheel, 2+2 seating and a carbon fiber herringbone interior fascia. This handsome 2014 example is now being offered by its seller in Massachusetts with only 4,830 miles showing on the odometer.
The Onyx Black finish on this Aston Martin is said to be absolutely pristine (detailed images are provided in the photo gallery). Noteworthy optional details include Black brake calipers ($1,595), Magnum Silver side meshes ($750) and 20” 20-spoke wheels with a gloss black and machined finish ($5,680).
The interior is appointed with full Obsidian Black leather featuring optional contrast stitching and “Vanquish” headrest embroideries. Other details include the Shadow Bronze Jewelry Pack, a full-length carbon fiber herringbone fascia, central stack rotaries in Shadow Bronze, front seat ventilation, the Black Hardware pack and an upgraded 2+2 seating arrangement which was configured at a cost of $4,545. A special Alcantara steering wheel derived from the Aston Martin One-77 supercar is also equipped along with the Bang & Olufsen BeoSound Audio System, auto-dimming mirrors, front and rear parking sensors with reversing camera, satellite radio, Bluetooth connectivity and an Aston Martin umbrella with integrated holder. A built-in K40 laser jammer and radar detector has been installed, however the cabin is said to be otherwise stock and in excellent condition.
A robust “6.0” (5.9L) V12 engine sends 565 HP and 457 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 6-speed Touchtronic 2 automatic transaxle. Performance features include variable valve timing and multipoint sequential fuel injection, 6-piston front and 4-piston rear ventilated carbon ceramic brakes, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), a 3-Stage Adaptive Damping System (ADS), Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD) and Emergency Brake Assist (EBA). Aston Martin reports a 0-60 time of 4.1 seconds and a claimed top speed of 183 MPH. All scheduled maintenance is reported to be up to date, and this Vanquish is said to drive like-new.
