Finished in Agate Grey Metallic over Black leather upholstery, this 2014 Porsche 991 Carrera S Cabriolet was generously optioned at a sticker price of over $128k. Features include a 7-speed PDK transmission, 20” Carrera Classic wheels, Power Steering Plus, Sport Chrono Package, Premium Package Plus, ParkAssist, Porsche Dynamic Light System, and more. Upgraded with a Shark Werks exhaust, this example is now being offered for auction by its seller out of California while showing just over 49k miles on the odometer.

This 991 comes finished in Agate Grey Metallic with a black convertible soft top and features optional 20” Carrera Classic wheels and LED headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System. Red-painted and Porsche-branded brake calipers are visible behind the wheels and clamp drilled and ventilated rotors. It rides on Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires from 2018. The seller states the taillight fastener cover tabs are broken. Slight imperfections on the front bumper, near the right rear taillight, and convertible top are noted and detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

Black leather upholstery lines the cabin of this Carrera S Cabriolet. Optional features include a SportDesign steering wheel, the Power Steering Plus, Front and Rear Park Assist, a Bose Audio Package, the Sport Chrono Package, and the Premium Package Plus which adds front seat heating and ventilation as well as Porsche Entry & Drive and Ambient Lighting. The seller recommends having the windshield wipers replaced and states the driver’s side rear window is currently not operating correctly.

A naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine provides up to 400 HP to the rear wheels by way of a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission. Equipped with the optional Sport Chrono Package, the Carrera S Cabriolet accelerates from 0-60 MPH in as little as 4.3 seconds. The seller adds that a Shark Werks exhaust was installed in February 2020, and service carried out in October 2022 included the spark plugs and drive belt replaced. Additionally, the most recent service carried out included an oil and filter change and brake fluid flush at 48,695 miles.

This sale will include a clean title.

The seller would like you to know: "Thanks for visiting my auction. I have owned this car for 4 years. It was my first Porsche and I have thoroughly enjoyed driving it! It has always been garaged and usually covered. I have never tracked it. I recently bought 2 other Porsche's so it is time to let go of this one."

Even the dog is barking in disbelief that you would start it and start revving it. I never understand why people do this! Wouldn't a drive-by video would make more sense?

@Hammertime FYI for any Porsche you can go online and with just the VIN # you can get the vehicle's option codes, option names, cost, base price, price with options. I do this for any Porsche of interest. There are several such Internet sites. You get the results instantly via email. It cost around $10.

Just talked to PCAR and the additional underside photos should be posted shortly. I will stick close by until auction ends to answer any questions that arise. Thank you and good luck!

  • plangley11 (seller) 10 months, 3 weeksago

@rbrunson Yes I do have the original exhaust. The previous owner wired the car for a camera (like a go-pro?) so you can video front and rear while driving. I have never used it myself. If you look closely at a rear photo you will see the camera "lens" just to the left of the license plate. I've added 2 photos from underneath, but for some reason I am unable to add the others that I took?! I will call PCAR and find out why. There are 4 airports that we will use. San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose, and Sacramento. All about the same distance from Turlock.

Do you have the original exhaust?
    Any other modifications?
Can you post some under side pictures so you can see if there is any rust? It has been a CA car but there is some concern about corrosion if near the beach.
What is nearest airport with commercial service?

@donspaulding When I had the car at the dealership for recall items they told me about the broken tabs. I didn't understand what they were talking about. (they are an hour away so I just dropped off the car). In fact when I got the car home I could not find what they were talking about. Looking back I probably should have gone ahead and it done. But everything is so expensive at the dealer!! They quoted me $ 1682 to replace the battery!! I had it replaced at a local European shop for $ 500. (which I still thought was high!). Anyway, I found out later the dealership wanted $55.63 to replace the covers with the broken tabs.
Wind Screen: I don't know if you can remove from car, but it totally disappears with the touch of a button so passengers can sit in the rear. When there is only people in the front and with the top down it helps tremendously with the wind.
Convertible Top: as far as I know it is original. I've had the car 4 years. I would be surprised if it was replaced before me, but I don't know. Hope that answers your questions, Paul

Please elaborate on "tail light fastener cover tabs broken"
Can the elaborate "wind screen assembly" be relaxed or removed from the car?
    Convertible top original?
    Thanks for your answers

@Hammertime Unfortunately I do not have the window sticker. As far as the window: Say the car is in park with engine on and top down. You activate the closing of the top, and once the top is up the rear windows go up followed by the front windows. When the rear windows go up, the LR window will go halfway up and then back down. It will do this 3 times, and then on the 4th try it goes all the way up. BUT....if during the closing process you crack open the driver door, then the LR window works perfectly fine!! The problem existed when I purchased the car in 2019. The previous owner had had the dealership look into it with no luck. I had a Porsche independent shop check it out and wanted several hours of diagnostic time just to try and find the problem! I recently talked to a 911 owner in NY that had experienced a similar problem with his! Hope this helps, Paul

  • Hammertime (registered bidder) 10 months, 4 weeksago

Hello Paul, do you have the window sticker for the car,
and you mentioned the drivers rear window is not working correctly can you expand on that?
    Thanks! Tom

@plangley11 - Paul - Same as yours, Agate Grey Metallic. Black Top and Black Interior. You do not see a lot of the Grey (part of the reason we purchased the car) and I like the color, just stunning in my book.

  • plangley11 (seller) 10 months, 4 weeksago

    @ZeroGravity what color is yours?

  • ZeroGravity 10 months, 4 weeksago

WOW. Short of a few slight differences and only 20,000 for miles, I have the exact same 991 Carerra S Cabriolet. Love the color and options. GLWT!

Hi my name is Paul, and I am the owner of this beautiful 911. Feel free to ask any questions you might have regarding the car. The car was at the local Porsche dealer in April for some recall work. While there they did a full inspection and found all 4 Michelin tires at 6/32" tread left; and the front and rear brake pads all at 8 mm thickness. Thanks for looking!

  • dwgolfer44 (registered bidder) 11 monthsago

The is a great car and well maintained by the owner. I see it around town so if you are looking for a fun 911 to own and drive then this is the one for you.
