Equipped with a naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine producing 475 horsepower, the 991 generation Porsche 911 GT3 was launched at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show as the first GT3 model to feature a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission. This Canadian-market 2014 example is finished in White over a Black leather and Alcantara interior. It showcases optional Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB), a front axle lifting system, an extended-range fuel tank, Racing Yellow seatbelts, a Sport Chrono dashboard clock, clear glass taillights, Sound Package Plus, a fire extinguisher, and Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with navigation. Acquired by the seller in 2022, this GT3 is now being offered for auction out of Ontario with under 2k miles showing on the odometer.
Compared to a contemporary Carrera model, the 991 GT3 features wider fenders, unique bumpers, a front chin spoiler, and a fixed body-colored rear wing. This example is finished in White and equipped with bi-xenon headlights, headlamp washers, optional clear glass taillights, dual center-mounted tailpipes, yellow ceramic brake calipers, and 20” GT3 center-lock wheels in Satin Platinum. The tires show 2014 and 2015 production date codes, some scratches are present on the front passenger-side wheel, and a ding is noted on the rear bumper. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is appointed with Black leather and Alcantara upholstery accented by brushed aluminum trim. Accessories include power-adjustable Sport Seats with GT3-embroidered headrests, optional Racing Yellow seatbelts, an Alcantara-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel with aluminum shift paddles, a Sport Chrono dashboard stopwatch, automatic climate control, cruise control, Sound Package Plus, Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with navigation, a HomeLink programmable garage door opener, and a fire extinguisher mounted below the passenger seat.
The naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine revs up to 9k-RPM and features titanium connecting rods, forged pistons, direct fuel injection, and a dry-sump oiling system. Up to 475 HP and 324 lb.-ft of torque is sent to the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission. Optional Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) are equipped and standard performance features include rear-axle steering, an electro-mechanical limited-slip differential, and Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM). Service completed in September 2024 included an oil and filter change, a brake fluid flush, a new air filter, cabin filter, spark plugs, and a multi-point inspection. Some maintenance records are available for reference.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, service records, a build sheet, rubber floor mats, a toolkit, and a Porsche battery trickle charger.

Thank you @seller how motivated are you to get this baby to a Porsche GT3 991.1 Sanitarium where it will be provided with unconditional love and affection despite it having a rubber dash and 4 way seats?
@catdog2 Hi there! Excellent question.
As of this moment, there are no additional tariffs or duties placed on used vehicles heading into the United States, meaning you will only be required to pay the standard 2.85% duty fee.
I recently spoke with our importer, who informed me that this tariff should only apply to Canadian and Mexican produced vehicles, meaning Porsche's such as this GT3 will be exempt.
If you have any questions, please let me know. I am always more than happy to help ensure your confidence in our GT3! - Neven
Good morning, would potential higher tariffs imposed on Canada affect the 2.5% tariff for this car? Thanks

@Vette-Guy Hi there! Excellent question.
The 10-year engine replacement program that was offered by Porsche only replaced engines that experienced failures during that timeline. As this GT3 has never experienced any engine failures over its lifetime, the engine has not needed to be replaced.
As well, as mentioned previously, this example was produced in July 2014, 4-months after the initial recall was announced, meaning it was fitted from factory with an E1 motor that was manufactured with redesigned components to improve reliability.
Please let me know if you have any questions! - Neven
@bigdaddibob No worries!
Regarding my knowledge on the condition of this GT3, the PPI report shows a clean bill of health for this example. As noted previously, due to the age of the tires, they will need to be replaced in order for this vehicle to meet CPO standards. While this is the only work that I am aware of that would need to be completed, a more in-depth Porsche CPO warranty inspection would need to be completed to get the full scope of the vehicle.
Even after the PPI, it unfortunately does not cover the depths of the inspection that is required for a Porsche CPO warranty. The PPI has less strict guidelines, as Porsche's CPO inspection requires many components to be in near "factory-fresh" condition. While the car may be in fully functional and great condition, as this example is 11-years old, there may be some components Porsche deems necessary for replacement.
Regarding the clearance of this GT3 into the United States, using an NHTSA Registered Importer such as Axis Importing negates the need for export clearance into the United States. I have sold over 20+ vehicles similar to this GT3 last year into the United States, and have not encountered any issues.
Included in the $2,500 USD quote from Axis Importing, is the gauge cluster faceplate conversion. Axis Importing will complete all necessary conversions required to get this vehicle prepared for registration in the US.
If you have any questions, please let me know! I am always more than happy to help. - Neven
So, to clarify please, this has the original E engine that is unmistakably the engine of “most” concern and has never been addressed throughout the 10 year FREE factory Porsche engine replacement?? Any specific ownership history the can maybe explain why not?
Bid in the amount of $104,000
@jbeinhor Hi there! Great question.
For the Porsche CPO warranty, the inspection only needs to be completed once at our dealership. No need to complete it again upon arrival!
If you have any questions, please let me know. - Neven
Bid in the amount of $100,241
@PolicaroGroup thanks for providing this but since you guys owned the vehicle, wouldn't you know what additional work would be required? If so, please list out what work is required. I don't want to be taken hostage to get this CPO warranty that is obviously required.
It sounds like at minimum, the car needs a new set of tires, what else did you guys find? I know tires would run about $3-4K for this.
How confident are you guys that Porsche Canada will provide an export clearance letter? I have been hearing that they do not like doing this as a lot of GT3/GT3RS/GT4RS were being imported during covid into the US because of ADMs being lower, so they stopped issuing this letter.
I also read it needs a new cluster to be imported into the US, is this true and if so, how much is that?
Hi -- for the warranty to be valid in the US, does the car need to be inspected upon arrival?
@EVOBIC Hi there! Excellent questions.
Just below this comment, you will find a quote in Canadian dollars for the 2-Year Porsche CPO Warranty on this GT3. The total cost for the warranty and inspection is $3,164.00 CAD + applicable taxes, plus any additional work required to meet CPO standards.
This CPO warranty is applicable at every Porsche Centre throughout Canada and the United States.
Yes, this GT3 is fitted with its original motor, and the 10-year warranty period concluded earlier this year. This example was produced in July of 2014, 4-months after the engine recall was announced, meaning it was fitted from factory with an E1 motor that was manufactured with redesigned components to improve reliability. Regarding the engine failure point, this fault is unfortunately found across all 991.1 GT3 engines. From my understanding, "G" motors are considered the most reliable although still are susceptible to those issues.
I hope this helps! If you have any questions, please let me know. - Neven
@bigdaddibob For certain!
Regarding pricing on the CPO warranty on this GT3, here is the pricing in Canadian dollars below:
$687.00 CAD + Applicable Taxes for CPO Inspection and Safety Inspection
$2,477.00 CAD + Applicable Taxes for CPO Warranty
$ TBD + Additional work required to meet CPO standards.
These prices can be converted to USD at the spot-rate conversion at time of purchase.
When purchasing a Porsche CPO warranty, a 111-point technical inspection must be completed to determine if any items require replacing to bring the vehicle as close to "factory-fresh" condition as possible, and certain items may need to be replaced. As this example features low mileage and a clean Pre-Purchase Inspection, the amount of work required to bring it to CPO standards should be minimal. For example, due to the tires age, they must be replaced despite being in good condition and maintaining 6mm of tread all around.
I hope this helps! If you have any questions, please let me know. - Neven
@EVOBIC yes seems a bit silly to me that a Porsche Dealer doesn't want to put a CPO or at least provide a price of the CPO warranty on a car they want to sell that they know has a ticking time bomb engine
@PolicaroGroup Since you are a Porsche Dealer (Porsche Centre Oakville) a CPO is very straight forward, two questions, please answer
1. What is the cost for CPO and is that CPO transferable to the US?
2. Since 14 s had engine issues covered by a replacement under warrantee was this engine replaced What year did GT3 have engine problems?
The first failures on 2013-14 991 GT3s were attributed to a metallurgical defect in the conrod bolts. All 785 of the cars that had been produced to that point were recalled and fitted with new engines, and an extra year was put onto the affected cars' warranties.
@PolicaroGroup I will bid the highest if you can provide how much the CPO is publically
Bid in the amount of $99,991
Bid in the amount of $94,991
@bigdaddibob No worries!
Regarding pricing for the CPO warranty, if you could please contact me directly via the "Contact Seller" feature, I would be more than happy to walk you through the process and pricing for adding a Porsche CPO warranty to this GT3.
Import duties are ~2.85% of the USD sale price of the vehicle.
Yes, this GT3 is fully eligible for export into the United States.
I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any questions. - Neven
@PolicaroGroup Thank you. Few more quesitons - How much would you want for the CPO warranty? How much are duties to import the vehicle? Does the vehicle already have porsche Canada approval for export?
@bigdaddibob Hi there! Excellent questions.
Yes, this GT3 is fitted with the original E1 motor that was produced 4-months after the engine recall was announced. This means it was fitted from factory with redesigned and improved engine parts to further reliability.
As this car is a 2014 model year, the 10-year warranty has since completed and no longer applies to this engine.
As for our reason for selling this car in its current condition, due to the nature of this transaction, we unfortunately do not have enough room within the purchase and sale of this vehicle to provide a CPO warranty. However, the ultra-low mileage, recent service history, and clean Pre-Purchase Inspection represent and stand for the excellent condition of this GT3. If the buyer wishes to purchase a 2-year, unlimited-mileage Porsche Approved Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) warranty, we are more than happy to work with them to receive this warranty at an additional cost.
Regarding import into the United States, we work with Axis Importing and their NHTSA-registered importer for all our cross border vehicle sales. For $2,500 USD + duties, Axis Importing will take care of all conversions required to meet US-specifications, including swapping the gauge cluster, along with providing brokerage for customs, import, and registration paperwork. We have extensive experience selling cars both out-of-province and out-of-country, and we would like to assure you the best possible importing experience
I hope this helps! If you have any questions about this GT3 in particular, please let me know! I am always more than happy to help ensure confidence in your bidding. - Neven

Can the seller or someone tell me if I got this right:
- This is the E engine AKA the one that blows up, it is not the G motor that is good right?
- It's out of the 10 year warranty, so if the engine blows up, Porsche does not replace right?
- Porsche is selling it, but not giving the CPO warranty on a 2k mile car? Is there any specific reason as to why no CPO? Seems like the best candidate for a CPO...
- It's in Canada, so buyers would need to import it, pay duties, deal with all the typical border BS or is the seller handling this?
- Low spec car, sticker shows $167K Canadian which is $116K USD. Is this considered low for a 991.1 or does it just feel low?

@clean_machina Hi there!
Unfortunately, due to the nature of this transaction, this GT3 is not offered with a Porsche Approved CPO warranty.
However, if the buyer wishes to purchase a 2-year, unlimited-mileage Porsche Approved Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) warranty, we are more than happy to work with them to receive this warranty at an additional cost. If you are interested in purchasing a warranty on this GT3, please feel free to reach out via the "Contact Seller" feature where I can walk you through the process of receiving this warranty.

@Retro2345 Hi there!
We understand your concern on pricing regarding the import process, however, we have been able to work with our recommended importer to reduce the costs associated with bringing a GT3 like this into the United States. Below is a quote in $ USD I have received from Axis Importing regarding import and conversions on this GT3...
$2,100.00 – Import Fees and Bond
$400.00 – Dashboard Conversion
+ ~2.85% Duty fee on sale price of the vehicle
This quote includes all conversions required to meet US-specifications, including the gauge cluster, along with brokerage for customs, import, and registration paperwork.
As well, I would like to note that we have priced the reserve on this GT3 to reflect the value of a Canadian car in the US-market, allowing a fair chance to all buyers. I hope this helps! - Neven
CPO?
@garyklein911 All cars had 10 year engine warranty. After 10 years you are on your own... and as i understand it, its when not if...
Bid in the amount of $5,000
I own a 2015 GT3 for 5 years now. My F 2015 engine let loose one year ago and now Porsche paid for a new G6 motor. I studied y this issue a lot. 2014-approximately 785 were made. USA? North America? Or Worldwide? My understanding was you got a new engine as the “E” engine of 2014 had rod bolt problems in addition to the Finger Followers problem my “F” engine had that caused my engine failure. 2014, you could either get the replacement engine right away or I saw some mention of delaying till a problem developed. Not sure on that last deal. As this car now only has 2000 miles 11 years latter, I bet the engine was not replaced back then. There might be papers that say Porsche would cover that engine replacement somewhere with that original owner? It’s worth finding out the engine situation if you wish to sell this car. I love my 2015 GT3 and am a PCA instructor for 30 years so mine gets great exercise on Track days, which is fairly often.
@PolicaroGroup we are all assuming this has the original engine which is now without the 10 year engine warranty from Porsche? Since it is 2025.
This will be a challenging sell to a US buyer unless the reserve is under market.
Great looking GT3 - Perfect track day spec.
Nice car but original engine and a Canadian car. For what this sells for plus the expense of shipping it to the Us and paying all the fees makes 0 sense.
For PCarmarket users outside of Canada, we wish to assure all prospective bidders that we are more than willing to help facilitate a cross-border transaction. We will guide the winning bidder throughout the process, helping to supply documentation along the way.
We recommend using “Axis Importing” and their NHSTA registered importer – an all-in-one import service specializing in Canada-US vehicle sales. They offer transportation and a full brokerage service, as well as facilitate any conversions – when required. For more information on their services, here is a link to their websites below.
