Available for auction is this 2014 Porsche Cayenne finished in Black over a Black interior. The second generation of the Porsche Cayenne was launched at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show and was larger than its predecessor while weighing significantly less thanks in part to the use of aluminum and magnesium. This two-owner 2014 example was acquired by the seller in August of 2022 from a Mercedes-Benz dealer in New Jersey. Following the seller's acquisition, this Cayenne was treated to an array of off-road-focused upgrades including a 2” suspension lift, auxiliary lighting, 18” Rotiform wheels, Falken Wildpeak tires, and Thule roof bars. In addition to its upgrades, it also comes factory equipped with desirable features such as Power Steering Plus, a panoramic roof, a heated steering wheel, heated front seats, front and rear ParkAssist, and more. It is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New York while showing just under 60k miles on its odometer.

This 958 was ordered in Black and has been modified with a 2.0” Eurowise lift kit along with a Eurowise front light bar with four Hella fog lights. The light bar mounts to the factory tow hooks and can be easily removed if desired, and the seller has modified the fender liners to make room for larger tires. Other additions include clear European-style side markers and Turbo exhaust tips. An optional trailer hitch was included from the factory. The finish is said to remain in above-average condition and the seller notes a few minor imperfections including several touch-ups, some rock chips, and a small dent in the passenger side door. Additional images can be found in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. It rides on a set of 18” Rotiform wheels which come dressed in a set of Falken Wildpeak tires and new TPMS sensors.

The cabin is upholstered in standard black leather and features a heated multifunction steering wheel as well as extended LED comfort lighting. Other options include a panoramic roof system, heated front seats, reversing camera with ParkAssist front and rear, Lane Change Assist (LCA), and the Convenience and Driver Memory Packages. The seller states that the upholstery has been conditioned regularly, and confirms that all gauges, electronics, and accessories remain functional. The second hand has been removed from the analog clock.

A naturally aspirated 3.6-liter V6 engine delivers up to 300 HP and 295 lb.-ft to all four wheels through an 8-speed Tiptronic S transmission with auto Stop/Start functionality. Performance features include Power Steering Plus, Porsche Stability Management (PSM), and Porsche Traction Management (PTM) with an Active All Wheel Drive System. The CARFAX includes 9 service history entries dating back as far as 2014, and the seller notes that the brake pads and rotors were replaced along with the water pump prior to their acquisition. Under current ownership, the cabin and engine air filters were replaced and a Liquimoly oil and fiter service was performed.

This sale will include the owner’s literature and a clean title (lien).

The seller would like you to know:  "Thanks for visiting my auction. I have searched for a long time and put a lot of time and effort into putting together a well sort and reliable Cayenne. I personally never off-roaded it but it's ready for the next owner to do so, or just to enjoy as a unique Cayenne."

@p_reker the toggle in the center console is for the center differential lock. It locks the center dif in the off-road setting to help prevent getting stuck.

  • p_reker (registered bidder) 11 months, 1 weekago

Thank you! Can I ask what the difference between inroad and off-road is on this model since I assume it doesn't have air suspension? Does it change the way the 4WD system operates?

  • Goesgood (seller) 11 months, 1 weekago

@p_reker bottom of the splash guard to the floor is about 1 foot. It’s a 2” lift with and the tires are about 1.5”s taller than stock.

Keep the bids coming! This is undoubtedly one of the cleanest 958s you will find with some quality upgrades. We are still way off of the reserve with 2 hours to go!

  • Goesgood (seller) 11 months, 1 weekago

@britco4 2 key fobs and the owners manual is included. Hmm I thought they loaded. I’ll reach out. There should be a picture of the dent (size of a pea), picture of the touch up which is hard to capture because it blends well and picture of the tires tread showing they are basically new.

  • britco4 (registered bidder) 11 months, 1 weekago

Two keys/fobs included? Owner's manual? Also, can you verify the dent and scratch pictures got uploaded... Or point them out in the listing. I know the PcarMarket guys can be a bit slow with updates sometimes. thanks.

@Goesgood your humor did not go unrecognized... I've driven your area enough to really appreciate what drivers have to deal with, GLWTS

  • Goesgood (seller) 11 months, 1 weekago

@britco4 was just a joke because the road is in terrible shape. The Cayenne has never been off-roading.

  • britco4 (registered bidder) 11 months, 1 weekago

@britco4 ---- Brooklyn-Queens Expressway... crumbling cantilever article was a quick find... triple decker, weight-in-motion... lots of good stuff

  • britco4 (registered bidder) 11 months, 1 weekago

@Goesgood okay so what/where in BQE? My daughters live in Brooklyn & Yonkers... I'm a Texas guy. Thinking BQE might be just a really bad city road of some sort?

  • _georged_ 11 months, 1 weekago

Have seen this truck multiple times in person, very clean and honest truck! Seller is an honest and stand up guy as well!

  • Goesgood (seller) 11 months, 1 weekago

If anyone is interested in seeing it in person please reach out to schedule.

  • Goesgood (seller) 11 months, 1 weekago

@britco4 no problem! The Cayenne has lived in NJ and NY so it’s seen some salted roads. I would consider it minor surface rust. The only off-roading it’s seen is a few gravel backroads and the occasional trip down the BQE in NYC lol (inside nyc joke if you’re not from the area)

  • britco4 (registered bidder) 11 months, 1 weekago

@Goesgood thx again... Underneath looks clean except for what appears to be some minor rusting (winter salt?). Has it seen much off roading?

  • Goesgood (seller) 11 months, 1 weekago

@britco4 I uploaded the pictures of the dent, touch ups and tires. Please mind the pollen, the Cayenne was washed yesterday. The dent is very small but when the light hits it you can see it. The touch ups were minor scratches. I did my best to capture them but they blend very well. I don’t have a tread depth gauge but the tires have under 5k miles, have no unusual wear and should last ~30k with regular rotations. The picture shows how much tread is left. All of the mods have under 5k miles on them.

Mr. Goesgood - can you advise to which pic best shows the small passenger door dent and/ or where in the video... Or better yet, post some additional to clearly show the dent and the touch-ups? For a new owner, or assuming you would not be selling: what would be things that the vehicle needs presently or in the foreseeable future? On the tires, can you provide 3/2nd's remaining and the original tread depth if convenient. I can look up original if I have the correct time model from the listing. Thanks again.

  • Goesgood (seller) 11 months, 1 weekago

@britco4 the Falken Wildpeaks are pretty quiet considering how aggressive they look. I have had numerous passengers comment at how quiet the ride is even at speed. I also think a large part is how well the Cayenne is built and sound deadened.

  • britco4 (registered bidder) 11 months, 1 weekago

@Goesgood Thank you Sir... & 1 other that I missed in the prior -> would a person maybe consider the tires noisy on pavement up to 85 mph? That is, loud enough to get a person's attention as a complaint.

  • Goesgood (seller) 11 months, 1 weekago

@britco4 I no longer have the original wheels and there are no modifications to the Cayenne that couldn’t go back to stock. You can remove the lift but it will need to be realigned and the light bar can easily be removed and put back to stock. The light bar utilizes the factory tow hook locations and is held in with two bolts. Remove those two bolts, disconnect the light harness and install the factor tow hook covers and it’s back to stock. The light harness is custom made. It uses 2 40 amp relays that are triggered by the factory fog light switch so no after market switches needed. Factory parts I have to include are the carpeted floor mats, front plate bracket and original exhaust tips.

  • britco4 (registered bidder) 11 months, 1 weekago

Do any loose parts come along with the sale, like original wheels or any other? Are the modifications fully reversible? Like the lift kit... not that I would?

  • Goesgood (seller) 11 months, 1 weekago

@britco4 yes it was. To my knowledge the transfer case is original and shows no signs of failure. There is a year and change remaining in the 10 year warranty for the transfer case. There is no rust on the body due in part to it being all original paint with no accidents as well as being well maintained and the underside shows some minor surface rust. The Cayenne has zero problems and is ready to go. Some of the notable maintenance history includes front and rear brake rotors and pads, engine air filter, cabin air filter, recent Liquimoly oil change and records of the water pump being done by the previous owner. Prior to my ownership the car was maintained by Jack Daniels Porsche according to the carfax. The Cayenne is not garaged under my ownership but the condition of it in person might make you think otherwise.

  • britco4 (registered bidder) 11 months, 2 weeksago

Was this model included in the transfer case campaign? And//or transfer case status? Rust? Problems / repairs history? Garaged? GLWTS & Thanks.
