Built by iND Distribution as one of their Portfolio Projects reserved for only their top clients, this 2015 BMW M235i nicknamed “Blue Ice” has been completely reimagined with a custom-designed widebody kit and a reupholstered interior as well as an upgraded coilover suspension, big brake kit, performance exhaust, an engine tune, limited-slip differential, and more. The car was delivered new to iND showing just 9 miles on the odometer and incorporates high-end componentry from suppliers like BMW M, Fall Line Motorsport, BMW Performance, BBS Motorsport, KW Motorsport, 3D Design, Gruppe M, and Eisenmann. This uncompromising build was enjoyed by its original owner for the first 4k miles before it was acquired by the seller. Now showing just under 29k miles on the odometer, this no-expense-spared M235i is being offered for auction out of California.
Carefully considering the car’s original styling and proportions, the professionals at iND Distribution designed and fabricated a custom widebody kit from scratch. The kit includes hand-shaped fender flares inspired by the E46 M3 as well as modified 3D Design carbon fiber spoilers, revised bumpers, a rear diffuser, and custom double-slat kidney grilles. The car is finished in Estoril Blue Metallic and features matching Brembo GT brake calipers with a gold flake added to complement the BBS Motorsport E05 wheels. Macht Schnell’s stud kit was added for easy wheel changes and a more aggressive look. The seller notes paint protection film has been installed and some minor imperfections are present including small stone chips and flaking paint on the rims. The car rides on a set of Michelin Pilot Sport tires which were mounted in 2017 within the last 10k miles.
The cabin was completely stripped by iND and reupholstered piece-by-piece using custom Alcantara and leather with blue stitching as well as BMW’s hexagonal Euro Performance fabric. New performance seats feature Alcantara-wrapped adjustment knobs and backrests as well as illuminated M logos and custom, blue-webbed safety belts. The iND performance steering wheel is trimmed in carbon fiber and wrapped in perforated Alcantara. Other additions include a customized BMW Performance carbon shift and parking brake handle, a BMW Performance shifter surround, an Awron gauge system, and 3D Design pedals.
The M235i comes with a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine producing 322 HP and 369 lb.-ft of torque stock. This example has been upgraded with a Gruppe M air intake and GSR Tecknik dyno tune as well as a handmade Eisenmann stainless-steel exhaust system and a limited-slip differential. The engine cover was also refinished in wrinkle black with blue accents. Power is sent to the rear wheels through an 8-speed automatic sport transmission. This M235i rides on an upgraded suspension with KW 3-way adjustable coilovers and derives stopping power from a Brembo GT big brake kit. The seller adds that the car has been routinely serviced by authorized BMW technicians.
This sale will include a clean title, owner’s manuals, and some documentation as well as an additional 3D Design carbon spoiler for the front finished in polished carbon and a set of illuminated headrest logos.

@affitch also have connections with MHD Tuning in San Diego from a previous F80 M3 and have one of their wireless connectors that plugs into the OBD II port allowing you to switch maps, including back to stock, using your smartphone and an app.

@M3BUM As is now, would probably not pass any visible inspection because of carbon fiber airbox being so obvious, but as previously mentioned stock airbox is in the garage with the car and a simple swap.

@affitch I noticed in the attached CarFax that this car has never been smogged before. But now that it is 7 years and older, it will now require a Smog Check. Will this M235 pass California Smog check the way it is right now? Also, if winning Bidder is from California, will you be providing a current Smog Certificate? Thanks!
To the PCM Community, I apologize for asking about Smog related question but it is something we have to live with and deal with living in California. :-(

Officially this is a "two owner" vehicle; however, the original owner was a friend and coworker of mine responsible for a number of other amazing custom builds. Consequently, I have been involved with this car from its inception, throughout the build, and finally as a completed project. When I was told that he was looking to get rid of it in order to move on to the next project I was more than happy to take such a unique, quality build with such striking looks and performance off his hands. Additionally, I have maintained contacts with iND Distribution, which I will happily share with the buyer if they are interested in doing any further upgrades, changes, or need replacement parts.
Hello, thank you for taking the time to view my listing. It pains me to put this car up for sale, but my work requires to me move all over and there is a good chance I will have to move somewhere soon where I will no longer be able to enjoy this car.
This is truly a one-of-a-kind car both inside and outside. The widebody kit is not the standard aftermarket bolt-on kit that you normally see with clearly exposed, obvious seams, bolts, rivets, panel gaps, etc. Every panel and aerodynamic piece is custom designed and molded to flow seamlessly into the over-all design of the car making it look like that is how it rolled off the factory production line. The attention to detail in unbelievable. The same is true of the interior; no surface has been overlooked. Every time you sit down in this car you will know you are sitting in something unique and special, and every time you see it you will feel the same way.
