Available for auction is this 2015 BMW F80 M3 finished in Yas Marina Blue Metallic over a Silverstone II Merino extended leather interior. The M3 has long set the standard for the European sports sedan, and the F80 chassis became the first turbocharged version with its S55 straight-six engine generating up to 425 HP. Featuring a highly desirable 6-speed manual transmission, carbon fiber roof panel, and Adaptive M Suspension, this 2015 example was sold new from BMW of Encinitas, California, where it has been routinely serviced under the care of its original owner up until July of 2021. Now with just under 49k miles showing on the odometer, this M3 is being offered for auction by its seller out of California.
This M3 comes finished in the distinctive shade of Yas Marina Blue Metallic with a lightweight exposed carbon-fiber roof panel and BMW Individual high gloss Shadowline trim. Characteristic features of the M3 include wide fender flares with vents behind the front wheels, more aggressive front and rear bumpers, a rear lip spoiler, aerodynamic wing mirrors, and quad exhaust tips. The exterior is described to have been very well maintained apart from a small hairline crack on the passenger-side windshield, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. The factory 18” M V-Spoke Style 513 light-alloy wheels come dressed in a set of fresh Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires mounted in late 2020.
Inside, the Silverstone II Merino extended leather interior is accented by high gloss carbon fiber trim, contrast stitching, perforated leather M sport seats, and BMW Individual Anthracite headliner. Both the front and rear seats are heated, and the front seats include adjustable lumbar support and position memory. The M-Sport steering wheels feature tri-color stitching, and the gear knob is highlighted by a traditional illuminated shift pattern insert. Additional equipment includes the Interior and Exterior Mirror Package, rain-sensing wipers, Adaptive Xenon Headlamps, automatic climate control, cruise control with braking function, navigation with real-time traffic information, and a HiFi sound system. The only noted imperfections are very minor scuff marks on the driver’s seat bolster.
Under the hood, the F80 M3 features a 3.0L S55 twin-turbocharged straight-six rated at 425 HP and 406 lb.-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven by way of a 6-speed manual transmission allowing this M3 to accelerate from 0-60 MPH in approximately 4 seconds. Factory performance features include optional Adaptive M Suspension, an electro-mechanical limited-slip differential, and electric power-assist speed-sensing steering. CARFAX shows a lifetime of maintenance carried out by BMW of Encinitas with the last recommended service completed in December of 2020 at 45,353 miles. The seller has also had a recent service completed at Crevier BMW including an oil and filter change as well as a brake fluid flush.

This car was under original sole-ownership, by the individual whom bought it new up until July of 2021 (this year).
Per Carfax, it's a (2) owner car. So the new owner will be the (3) registered owner, but in reality only the second.

This is as nice as an F80 gets. Original-California ownership up until July of this year, thoroughly dealer service, and a fresh oil+filter and brake fluid flush I had performed at my local BMW dealer in preparation for the sale.
The new owner will be ecstatic watching this beauty roll of the transport truck upon arrival!

Yes. Suspension and everything else is completely unmodified as it left the factory when new. If you haven't already take a look at the Inspection video at my local BMW dealer they touch base on it.

I was looking after the cosmetic twin to this car about 9 months ago and remember thinking to myself that all it needed to be perfect was a 6MT and a carbon roof. Here we have an example that resolves those two points. GLWTA!

You can search all you want, just as I did.
Concours-kept, unmodified F80 M3’s in a 6-Speed configuration are almost impossible to come around these days. Let alone the coveted Yas Marina Blue Metallic.
