The Polaris Slingshot provides an exhilarating open-air experience with a rear wheel driven by a 2.4-liter EcoTec engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. Finished in Titanium Metallic over a black interior with body-color trim pieces, this 2015 Polaris Slingshot is now being offered for auction by its seller out of California showing just over 11k miles on the odometer.
This Slingshot is finished in Titanium Metallic and constructed of a high-strength steel spaceframe which aids in weight reduction. Details include futuristic styling cues with refined lines and sharp angles, open-wheel fenders, an optional medium-height windscreen, forged aluminum roll hoops above each headrest., and a narrow rear end. Two 17” wheels are fitted at the front and an 18” wheel at the rear, mounted with Bridgestone Potenza RE71R tires. The seller notes some minor paint imperfections along with a small scrape on the passenger-side lower plastic area and lower edges of the front spoiler. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The cockpit is appointed with black waterproof vinyl upholstery featuring angular bucket seats with 3-point safety belts. Equipment includes trim pieces finished in Titanium Metallic, “Polaris” insignia ahead of the passenger seat, dual-gauge instrumentation, a red-finished push-to-start button, and a button within the console that allows the driver to toggle the stability control. The seller notes that the check engine light appears intermittently and could be easily corrected by installing a new roll-over switch according to a Polaris dealer (Polaris part #4011026). Additionally, a phone holder has been fitted to the central compartment.
A GM-sourced 2.4-liter EcoTec inline-four engine sends up to 173 HP and 166 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheel through a 5-speed manual transmission. The seller adds that a critical swingarm pivot protector and a housing closeout plate were installed upon acquisition, and recalls were completed during early ownership including replacements to the rear swingarm, double lock axle, and brake master cylinder, while open recalls include seat frames and fuse block terminals (NHTSA Recall Numbers 18V195 & 19V750). The seller notes the Bridgestone tires mounted have a smaller outside diameter than the OEM Kenda tires which causes the cruise control function to fail, and the brake light occasionally turns on if the rear tire spins but does not affect braking and can be disregarded by turning the ignition off then on to reset the light.
This sale will include a clean title. The Polaris Slingshot may require a motorcycle license and helmet in some states.

@Lundclan - I can only imagine how special it would be to drive the Slingshot on the beach in New Smyrna or Daytona . . . good luck - if you win this auction, then the “drift envelope” shall be yours to open!
*I can confirm that pushing the envelope in the Slingshot is far more fun ( and safe in my unofficial opinion) than doing so in the Porsche 914-V8 I recently finished resurrecting.
I test drove one in New Symrna Beach, FL. Unfortunately they did not let us test the envelope or drift. Fun though. I have owned several Polaris products and loved them.

I purchased my 2015 Polaris Slingshot new and am the sole owner. It has a clean title and is currently registered in California. It has never been tracked or abused . . .only loved, cared for and - most importantly - enjoyed.
Even if you - like me - prefer a stealthy vehicle, don't let the ridiculous amount of attention bother you, nor the positive comments (i.e. "Batmobile" and "Star Wars") lead you astray from the sole purpose of this vehicle . . .pure fun, belly laughs and ear to ear smiles!
I have enjoyed the pleasure of years of unique dynamics and tail-sliding fun - all whilst enjoying rock-solid mechanical dependability from the 2.4 liter L4 Ecotec engine that Chevrolet claims surpasses their legendary "Small Block" V8 - in terms of reliability.
The manual gearbox (Aisin AR5) was rated as second only to the Miata in shift quality/feel . . .and it surely is.
I have a herd of 7 vehicles that must be thinned to 2 . . .so it's time for the next steward to let their other (4-wheeled) sports car gather some dust.
If you have never driven in one, please do yourself a favor (whether you bid or not) - rent one. . .I can guarantee that you'll be smiling and grinning from ear to ear . . .it is a factory "drift machine" (do so only the track, kids) in which even the most inexperienced driver can quickly slide the rear with nearly effortless safety and impunity . . .whilst laughing the entire time!
