@jkinne my answer is kick rocks
I’ve no interest in you or this website undervaluing my car.
I’m not in any mood to play a game of wits with you.
It’s quite apparent you have been in lock down for way too long.
Give it up while you think your ahead.
Go troll craigslist for that car of your dreams.

    Und die anworter ist??????

  • jkinne (registered bidder) 8 months, 1 weekago

@pacific7174 Offense to defense? Oh please ... give me a break! If you need help ... I can probably recommend a good shrink if desired.
I know I don’t live in a high price zip code or run a shop with ASE Master technicians, but I do deal with people professionally and honestly and I don’t waste my money. I am disappointed that you misconstrued my questions as a personal attack (which they weren’t) and feel as though I have somehow called your honor into question (which I haven’t - at least not yet) but my primary query is still unanswered: I don’t understand why, as the owner of Pacific German, Inc, with all your shops’ knowledge and associated expertise, you wouldn’t be able to provide sufficient documentary info to CARFAX to rectify the erroneous report. What worried me initially was what I perceived as a rather dismissive response to another individual’s question that it was a “parking lot scrape that required rear quarter to be blended.”. If (as in your own words) Pacific German, Inc is not a body shop, wouldn’t it be better to have a PPI performed to support your contention and eliminate any issues? I only offer it as a suggestion since whoever buys the car would also have to deal with the same issue down the road.
Of course, by then it wouldn’t be YOUR problem To deal with anymore, would it?

@jkinne Your disposition changes quickly when called out.
    Offense to defense.
Believe me, we won’t be doing any business.

  • jkinne (registered bidder) 8 months, 1 weekago

Sorry, second sentence should have read:
Would think that’s in everyone’s interest, correct?

  • jkinne (registered bidder) 8 months, 1 weekago

If the report is wrong, is there not a way to correct the report? Would think that’s in everyone’s interest, colorectal? And negativity???? Seriously? I asked questions and was hoping to get a reasonable response, not a lecture - I already have a father and fortunately you’re not him! The report says one thing and your description/explanation states the opposite - excuse me for being confused. No worries though - I’ll just look/do business with those a little less “sensitized”.

@jkinne Yes it is just you and yes you are missing a lot.
It’s my personal daily driver. The structural damage report is a crock of BS.
I own PacificGerman.com I’ve been over every inch of this car. Nothing is out of sorts. (And no, I’m not a body shop)
With the amount of negativity you have and the fact it’s clearly not in your budget.... leave it alone.
Not even to mention the fact you’ve never even seen the car.

  • jkinne (registered bidder) 8 months, 1 weekago

Is it just me or does the lack of an accident report for 5 months plus the fact that it wasn’t listed on Carfax for 22+ months later give anyone pause? Plus, Carfax lists the accident as “structural damage” not just a quarter panel “blending”/cosmetic fix. Despite these two items, the bid is 100K with no additional comments. What am I missing here?

I believe when we look back 20 years from now the First Gen 991 Turbos will be considered one of the most beautiful Porsches ever made. They are perfect looking from every angle IMO. This is a beautiful car with very nice mods

@johndemartino Turbo's are sold exchange only.
I'm sure I still have intercoolers and intake. Most likely the factory wing too. Nothing else. Carbon steering wheel was discarded.
I do not have the wheels.

  • johndemartino (registered bidder) 9 months, 3 weeksago

Are OEM parts, wheels specifically, included?

  • pacific7174 (seller) 9 months, 4 weeksago

    No, before my time.
Cannot see anything that would remotely indicate a problem.
Owning Pacific German Inc, doing all enhancements in house, there is no indication of anything being replaced. It was a parking lot scrape that required rear quarter to be blended.
Since I've had it the car has been corrected, and coated. Looks, runs, drives flawlessly.
I drive it practically every day.

  • 1slowporsche 9 months, 4 weeksago

Any pics of the damage from the accident?
