Introduced in 2015, the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat is the high-performance version of the Charger sedan, borrowing the same 700HP+ supercharged Hemi V8 from the Challenger SRT Hellcat. Originally delivered to Manhattan Jeep Chrysler Dodge in New York City, this 2016 example was ordered in Redline Red Pearl over a black leather interior and optioned with the Customer Preferred Package (231), red seatbelts, and a black-painted roof. It has been modified with a Metco 3.10 upper pulley, an ATI Super Damper harmonic balancer, a Legmaker intake system, dual catch cans, and an HHP tune by Joshua Schwartz. Located in New York, this Charger Hellcat is now being offered at auction with approximately 4k miles showing on the odometer.
The exterior is finished in Redline Red Pearl (RY) with a black painted roof, a rare combination said to have only been ordered for three Charger Hellcats during the production year. Equipment includes HID projector headlights, LED daytime running lights, a model-specific front fascia and side skirts, a decklid spoiler, a vented hood, red Brembo brake calipers, polished dual exhaust tips, and Hellcat fender badging. The seller reports the vehicle received a full paint correction upon delivery prior to an application of clear paint protection film over the entire body. Removable ceramic window tint has been applied as well. The Hellcat-specific 20” matte black forged wheels are mounted with the original Pirelli P-Zero tires in the front and Mickey Thompson street tires from 2017 in the rear. The cabin is trimmed in black Laguna leather with a matching dashboard, door panels, and center console, accented by Dark Engine Turn Aluminum trim. The power-adjustable front seats feature heating and ventilation functionality, white contrast stitching, optional red seat belts, and embossed SRT emblems in the backrests. Interior amenities include a 7” digital instrument display, heated rear seats, a heated steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a Uconnect infotainment system with an 8.4″ touchscreen, navigation, and satellite radio. The Customer Preferred Package 231 equips a 19-speaker Harman Kardon sound system with a subwoofer. The seller has added Mopar rubber floormats and a Blendmount radar detector mount with an Escort unit.
The Charger Hellcat is powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter Hemi V8 featuring forged pistons, a forged steel crankshaft, forged connecting rods, and aluminum cylinder heads. Factory output is rated at 707 HP and 650 lb-ft of torque, sent to the rear wheels through an 8-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. The seller has modified the engine with a Metco 3.10 upper pulley, an ATI Super Damper harmonic balancer, a Legmaker intake system, dual catch cans, and an HHP tune by Joshua Schwartz. All maintenance is said to be up-to-date including annual oil changes.
