Marking the final year of the first-generation 991 Carrera and its naturally aspirated engine, the 2016 Black Edition sports a dark monochromatic theme and come equipped as standard with dynamic LED headlamps, 20” 911 Turbo wheels, heated Sport Seats, Sport Chrono Package, Bose Surround Sound System, and a SportDesign steering wheel along with other premium features. This car was enjoyed by its first owner for two years and just over 14k miles before it was traded in, sold, and eventually acquired by the seller as a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle in January 2019. It has since been upgraded with an AWE exhaust system, AP Racing brakes, and treated to routine maintenance per the manufacturer’s recommended intervals. Showing just over 38k miles on the odometer, this Carrera Black Edition is now being offered for auction out of North Carolina.
This Coupe is finished in Jet Black Metallic and comes equipped with a “911” rear model designation, LED headlights including Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus (PDLS+), and 20 ” 911 Turbo wheels. Aftermarket AWE quad exhaust tips are installed, and the wheels were mounted with new Michelin Pilot Sport tires within the last 1,500 miles. Clear 3M paint protection film covers the front bumper, hood, mirrors, and doors. Several small rock chips are noted on the front end PPF and the seller indicates an abraded area on the lower right side of the front fascia. The car has seen a few days of track use during HPDE and private driving events, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The Black Edition is equipped as standard with heated Sport Seats, a SportDesign steering wheel, Bose Surround Sound System, and door sills with “Black Edition” logos. Other standard features for this model include auto-dimming mirrors, rain-sensing wipers, and ParkAssist with a reversing camera. This example was also optioned with seat ventilation, Porsche Entry & Drive, Power Steering Plus, and an electric slide/tilt sunroof in glass.
Up to 345 HP is sent to the rear wheels from a naturally aspirated 3.4-liter flat-six engine paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission. With the optional Sport Chrono Package, the Carrera reaches 60 MPH from a standstill in as little as 4.4 seconds. This example has been upgraded with an aftermarket AWE exhaust system as well as AP Racing two-piece brakes paired with stainless steel lines. Routine maintenance has been kept up to date including the most recent oil and filter change at 35,284 miles. A software update for a voluntary emissions recall has yet to be completed and the seller notes the car was serviced under Porsche’s CPO warranty up until May of 2021.

@XHILLR8 Thanks for your question. I've done three PCA HPDE events, plus 5-6 private track days at Virginia Int'l Raceway. We have a group of local PCA members who drive non-competitively at VIR several times a year: point-by passing on the straightaways, etc. This car has seen no "off-track" incidents.
