Designed with an emphasis on driving sensation and visceral performance, the Porsche 911R is based on a contemporary 991 GT3 RS but with more understated bodywork, ceramic brakes (PCCB), special houndstooth seat centers, a 6-speed manual transmission. This 2016 Porsche 911R is #831 of 991 examples produced in total and comes finished in White over a Black leather interior with deviated stitching in GT Silver. It was sold new in Canada and configured with optional extended leather upholstery, illuminated door sill guards in carbon fiber, LED headlights in Black, Sport Design mirrors in carbon fiber, Satin Platinum painted wheels, the Sport Chrono Package, an extended-range fuel tank, Front Axle Lift System, air conditioning, the BOSE Surround Sound System, Porsche Communication Management (PCM), and more. Accompanied by a Porsche CPO warranty, this 911R is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New York while showing approximately 5,600 miles on the odometer.
The 911R features lightweight carbon fiber bodywork for the hood, front fenders, and rear decklid. It shares its double-bubble magnesium roof panel with the contemporary GT3 RS as well as its bumpers, side skirts, and titanium center-mounted exhaust. In contrast to the GT3 RS, the 911R is distinguished by a unique front splitter, an aluminum engine grille, and a speed-activated rear spoiler. This example is finished in White with black side stripes inspired by the original Porsche 911R of 1967. Options include LED headlights in Black, SportDesign mirrors with upper housings in carbon fiber, and 20” GT3 center-lock wheels in Satin Platinum. The seller indicates clear paint protection film has been applied over the front bumper, hood, and fenders, and the wheels are dressed in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires (1622). The cabin is appointed with Black leather upholstery complemented by GT Silver deviated stitching and classic houndstooth cloth centers for the carbon fiber bucket seats. The 911R features special vintage-style instrument dials with green markings as well as a limitation plaque that reads the car’s production number. Options include illuminated carbon fiber door sills, extended leather upholstery for the dashboard and door panels, a steering column casing in leather, deviating carbon fiber floor mats with leather edging, the Light Design Package, Front Axle Lift System, Sport Chrono Package, the BOSE Surround Sound System, HomeLink, Online Services, air conditioning, a luggage net in the passenger footwell, a fire extinguisher, and Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with navigation and a SiriusXM satellite radio receiver.
Shared with the GT3 RS, the 911R is equipped with a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine that produces up to 500 HP and 339 lb.-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven by a 6-speed manual transmission and a mechanical limited-slip differential. It features an adjustable suspension from the GT3 RS as well as rear-axle steering and Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) as standard equipment. The CARFAX report shows this 911R was serviced by Porsche of Southampton in July 2023 and was offered as a Porsche-Approved Certified Pre-Owned vehicle. The seller adds that a 2-year Porsche CPO warranty is available to the next private owner.

@Hiroshikato1 Hi. There is no issue with registering the vehicle in the U.S.. The current title is an Arizona title.
There have been some issues with importing 992.1 GT3 from Canada into the US. Did this car have any issues with that? I was going to bid on a Canadian car and in Alberta they do not have car titles plus the omission of the word BRAKE on the dash. Did the 911R have any of these issues which would make registering the car difficult in the US?
This was my car originally and I put nearly all of the mileage on it. The car was a dream, although a loud dream for certain. Always maintained by my local Porsche dealer, although it never needed anything other than the scheduled and routine maintenance. Happy to answer any questions if helpful but I certainly don’t want to interfere in someone else’s auction.
