Up for auction is this 2016 Porsche 991 Carrera Coupe Black Edition. Porsche created the Black Edition to highlight the unique equipment and styling of the new generation Carrera. This low-mileage Canadian-spec example has an immaculate service history at Pfaff Porsche and comes equipped with a full application of ceramic coating and front-end paint protection film. It is now being offered with 45k Kilometers (28K-Miles) on the odometer out of Canada.
The sleek Black finish on this example is said to remain in outstanding condition. Since new, this example has been preserved with paint protection film applied to the bumper, hood, fenders, and mirror covers while ceramic coating has been applied to the entire vehicle. Notable exterior details include SportDesign exterior mirrors, headlight cleaning system cover painted the exterior color, a SportDesign front apron and an electric glass slide/tilt sunroof. This 991 rides on factory 20-inch Carrera S wheels finished in black which come dressed in Pirelli P-Zero tires dated 2017.
Inside, the cabin has been appointed with Black leather that promotes a sophisticated look for this limited-edition model. The driver and passenger sit on heated sport seats while the standard Bose® Surround Sound System provides excellent sound quality. Other details include a painted center console, headrests embossed with Porsche crests and seat belts in Guards Red. For added comfort and luxury this example is equipped with navigation, park assist, a telephone module, auto-dimming mirrors, rain-sensing wipers, cruise control and a Sport Design steering wheel. All functions are said to be in working order.
This Carrera is equipped with a naturally aspirated 3.4L flat-six engine which is rated at approximately 345 HP. The rear wheels are driven by way of a highly desirable 7-speed manual transmission allowing for a 0-60 speed of approximately 4.5 seconds. For upgraded performance, this Black Edition is factory equipped with a Porsche Sport Exhaust System and Sport Chrono Package. Suspension updates have been made by way of installing H&R lowering springs (the original suspension will be included with the sale). This example has been kept up-to-date on all routine maintenance with complete service records available. It is stated that a recent annual service has been performed by qualified technicians at Pfaff Porsche in Canada.

@Jbain75 Automobiles are generally subject to duty of 2.5% of their current value when they are imported to the United States. However, vehicles manufactured in NAFTA countries (Canada, U.S. and Mexico) are usually exempt from this duty. These two forms are required, DOT Form HS-7, EPA Form 3520-1. I am hoping someone else who has already done this can shed some more light on it.
@Jbain75 Hello. There have been multiple Canada to US sales here on PCARMARKET this year. A reputable trucking company such as Plycar can transport the vehicle and help recommend a customs broker to facilitate the paperwork necessary to bring the vehicle in. Best of luck.

Did this car have dogs as passengers? Just wondering because of the rear seat covers plus it looks like there is hair in the rear carpet.
Very nice. I always thought the Black Edition cars were limited to the 997.2 generation, but evidently not.
