Up for auction is this 2016 Porsche 981 Cayman GT4 wrapped in Satin Black vinyl over a White finish, with a black leather and Alcantara interior accented by Racing Yellow stitching. The ultimate track-oriented version of the 981 Cayman, the original GT4 is equipped with a naturally aspirated 3.8L flat-six engine mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox along with aggressive aerodynamics, a limited-slip differential, and lowered PASM suspension. This launch-year example comes well-optioned with Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB), the Sport Chrono Package, 18-way Adaptive Sport Seats, the Carbon Fiber Interior Package, and more. This GT4 was acquired by the seller in August 2020 as a Porsche Certified Pre Owned vehicle and has been enjoying a lifetime of dealer maintenance. It is now being offered for auction out of Pennsylvania showing under 12k miles on the odometer remaining covered under Porsche CPO warranty.

This GT4 comes factory finished in White (0Q) and features a removable Satin Black vinyl wrap with yellow stripes and "GT4" logos as well as forged carbon fiber accents on the wing, side mirrors, sills, and front air outlet.  Ceramic coating was applied in December of 2021, a new front spoiler was just recently installed, and the seller reports signs of road-going wear on the front bumper. This GT4 was also used for several track events under the current ownership, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. Exterior equipment includes bi-xenon headlights in Black with the Porsche Dynamic Lighting System (PDLS), wing supports in Black, painted headlight cleaner covers, Racing Yellow brake calipers, and black-painted 20” GT4 wheels.  The car rides on a set of Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 3 tires mounted in October 2021, and an additional set of Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 rear tires with approximately 1k miles of use is also said to accompany the sale.

The cabin is upholstered in black leather and Alcantara with deviated Racing Yellow stitching and carbon fiber trim. The 18-way adjustable Adaptive Sport Seats are trimmed in matching upholstery with deviated stitching, Alcantara inserts, and GT4 logos in the headrests. The first-generation GT4 carries a naturally aspirated 3.8L flat-six engine derived from the 991 Carrera S. As much as 385 HP and 309 lb.-ft of torque are sent to the rear wheels by way of a 6-speed manual transmission, allowing for a 0-60 time of approximately 4 seconds and a top speed north of 180 MPH.  The GT4 comes standard with a limited slip differential and Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV) as well as a lowered PASM suspension with GT3-derived dampers. This example has been maintained exclusively by Porsche Conshohocken under the current ownership including service before and after track events. A 10k-mile service was completed in March of 2021 and CARFAX shows a major 40k-mile service completed in 2019.  A DME report can be found in the gallery. The Porsche Certified Pre Owned warranty remains in effect up until September 9th, 2022.

This sale will include a set of two keys, the original window sticker, owner's manuals, a clean title (lien), and the balance of the CPO warranty. Nicely optioned and well-maintained, this launch-year GT4 awaits its next owner.
