The first mid-engine Ferrari supercar to equip a turbocharged V8 engine since the legendary F40, the Ferrari 488 was launched in 2015 and named Supercar of the Year by Top Gear magazine for its breathtaking power and performance. This 2017 Spider version comes finished in Rosso Corsa over a black leather interior and features optional carbon fiber interior trim, a front suspension lifter, front and rear parking cameras, sport exhaust pipes, and more. Dealer maintainer and preserved under clear paint protection film, this 488 Spider is now being offered for auction by its seller out of California showing just over 5k miles on the odometer.

Designed by Flavio Manzoni, the bodywork of the Ferrari 488 produces 50% more downforce than its predecessor the 458 Italia by using a new integrated rear spoiler, double front splitter, a larger rear diffuser, and a central “Aero Pillar” that guides air along the underbody. This Spider is finished in traditional Rosso Corsa with optional red brake calipers, sport tailpipes, sport sill covers, and Scuderia fender shields. It rides on factory 20” forged dark-painted wheels and remains preserved with an application of clear paint protection film over the full exterior. The cockpit is appointed with black leather and deviated rosso stitching as well as optional carbon fiber trim spanning the central bridge, dashboard, and driver zone with LED shift indicator lights along the top of the steering wheel. Other options include embroidered Cavallino Rampante emblems in the headrests, a yellow rev counter, full electrical seats, a premium hi-fi sound system, front and rear parking cameras, a front suspension lifter, and the Adaptive Frontlight System (AFS).

An all-aluminum 3.9-liter V8 engine is paired with twin ball-bearing twin-scroll turbochargers and dual intercoolers for an output of over 660 HP. The rear wheels are driven by way of a Getrag 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission allowing acceleration to 60 MPH from a standstill in under 3 seconds and a top speed of over 200 MPH. Performance equipment includes Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes derived from the LaFerrari hybrid hypercar, a magnetorheological active suspension, an E-Diff3 electronic limited-slip differential, and Ferrari Side-Slip Angle Control advanced traction control. The CARFAX report shows maintenance history including recommended service at Ferrari Silicon Valley in October 2022.
