Introduced in 2015 as the successor to the 458 Italia, the 488 Gran Turismo Berlinetta (GTB) was the first turbocharged mid-engine Ferrari since the legendary F40, with its award-winning 3.9-liter V8 generating over 660 HP. The hardtop convertible Spider variant was released in September 2015, equipped with an array of Ferrari motorsport-derived technology including active aerodynamics, Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes, adaptive suspension, lightweight construction, and a full suite of Ferrari driver assistance systems. This 2017 Spider was ordered in the classic Ferrari color of Rosso Corsa over a Beige leather interior and was optioned at an original sticker price of $334,310 including carbon fiber rear air ducts and side air splitters, yellow finished brake calipers, power seats with diamond-stitched embroidery and Ferrari emblems, the carbon fiber driver’s zone with a steering wheel-mounted LED rev counter, red contrast stitching, matching branded floor mats, Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, and more. Remaining under the coverage of its original factory warranty until April of 2024, this 488 Spider is now being offered at auction by its seller out of Rhode Island showing under 4k miles on the odometer.
The exterior is finished in Rosso Corsa (322) with a retractable two-piece convertible hardtop that can be raised or lowered in around 14 seconds. Optional equipment includes yellow brake calipers, Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, carbon fiber rear air ducts, carbon fiber side air splitters, and powered door mirrors. Standard features include active aerodynamic flaps on the rear diffuser, adaptive headlights, an F1-style brake light, and integrated dual exhaust outlets. The seller states the entire body has been preserved under clear paint protection film, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. The forged 20” wheels wear yellow Ferrari center caps and Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires from 2017.
The interior features optional power-adjustable seats upholstered in tan leather with diamond-stitched inserts, red contrast stitching, and embroidered Prancing Horse logos on the headrests. Tan leather upholstery covers the lower dashboard, door panels, and center console, contrasted by a black leather upper dashboard and carbon fiber trim. Amenities include a multifunction steering wheel with carbon fiber shift paddles and an LED tachometer, a yellow central-mounted tachometer, optional front and rear parking sensors and cameras, dual-zone automatic climate control, a six-speaker sound system, navigation, two configurable TFT digital instrument screens, and pushbutton ignition.
The 488 Spider is powered by a mid-mounted 3.9L twin-turbocharged V8 producing up to 661 HP and 561 lb.-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven by a 7-speed F1 dual-clutch transaxle, which allows the 488 Spider to accelerate from 0-60 MPH in around 3 seconds with a claimed top speed of 205 MPH. Standard performance features include an SCM3 magnetic dampening suspension, Ferrari Slide Slip Angle Control (SSC), and carbon ceramic brakes. The CARFAX report shows an emissions inspection was passed in May of 2022, and the seller reports the original factory warranty remains active until April of 2024.

The entire car is protected by paint protection film. There are no stone chips or paint damage of any kind. We'll post a picture of the window sticker shortly. The car is well optioned.
