Introduced in 2017 as a special limited-production version of Mercedes’ W463 G-Class, the 4x42 boasts extreme off-road capabilities with factory-equipped portal axles, geared hubs, triple locking differentials, and a rally-inspired parallel coilover suspension. This 2017 example was specified in Iridium Silver Metallic over a black Nappa leather and Dinamica interior. It has been fitted with a long list of aftermarket carbon fiber exterior additions, OEM G63 AMG 6x6 bead-lock wheels with 37” Toyo Open Country A/T tires, a valved exhaust system, and more. Showing approximately 28k miles on the odometer, this G550 4x42 is now being offered at auction by its seller out of Georgia.
This W463 was ordered in Iridium Silver Metallic with a black roof, and features aftermarket carbon fiber add-ons including a hood scoop, a spare tire delete, body moldings, mirror caps, front grille, headlight housings, hood vents, a front spoiler with LED running lights, a front-bumped mounted intake scoop, and door handles. A triple-tipped exhaust exits from each side of the vehicle, and the headlights, taillights, and side markers have all been tinted in addition to the windows. Factory details include exposed carbon-fiber fender flares, a carbon-fiber roof fairing with LED running lights, and red-painted brake AMG brake calipers. This 4x42 rides on OEM G63 6x6 18” bead-lock wheels, which are mounted with 37” Toyo Open Country All-Terrain tires.
The interior is trimmed in black Nappa leather accented by white contrast stitching, Anthracite Dinamica suede upholstery, and high-gloss carbon-fiber inlays. The optional Designo Exclusive Package adds diamond-stitched inserts to the seats, an Anthracite Dinamica suede headliner, and a Dinamica suede-wrapped multifunction flat-bottomed steering wheel. Amenities include heated front and rear seats, Mercedes COMAND navigation with Bluetooth and smartphone integration, dual-zone climate control, the Harmon Kardon LOGIC 7 Surround Sound System, a rearview camera, a power sliding sunroof, and tinted glass.
The G550 4x42 is powered by a 4.0L twin-turbocharged M176 V8 that offers a claimed output of up to 416 HP and 450 lb.-ft of torque. A 7-speed 7G-Tronic automatic transmission distributes power to all four wheels. The 4x42 is equipped with triple locking electronic differentials, portal axles, and geared hubs borrowed from the extreme G63 6x6 model, and offers nearly 18” of ground clearance, a water fording depth limit of 39”, and approach, break-over and departure angles besting a Hummer H1. The suspension features Ohlins dual springs and variable dampers at each corner, which are electronically adjustable from a switch in the cabin. Braking is handled by 6-piston calipers in the front and 4-pistons in the rear, both paired with cross-drilled rotors. The CARFAX report shows a history of dealership service, and this 4x42 recently passed a pre-sale inspection by Motorcars of Atlanta in March of 2022.

@tristar the full carbon fenders was the indicator to me that this was Harris’s previous truck. Do you know if the Brabus parts that are installed now are genuine Brabus parts?

A very unique vehicle! Looks like it has a good service record based on the Carfax, do you have records available? Also, seems to have changed hands a lot in a short period of time. Did you just purchase in March of this year?
a few notes:
-those are 463 Industries wheels, not 6x6.
-it is the only current US G Squared with full exposed Carbon OEM Fenders.
