DT: 2017 Porsche 991.2 Carrera S Sport Package

We are pleased to present this 2017 Porsche 991.2 Carrera S Coupe finished in Night Blue Metallic over a two-tone Graphite Blue and Chalk leather interior.  In addition to cosmetic updates, the twin-turbocharged 991.2 S offers improved turbocharged performance over its first-generation predecessor.  Featuring the Sport Package which includes the Sport Chrono Package, Sport Exhaust System, and Rear-Axle steering, this highly optioned coupe is not to be overlooked. Showing only 22k miles on the odometer, this 991 is now offered for sale with a clean Carfax by its owner out of California.

The Night Blue Metallic finish on this coupe is stated to be in excellent overall condition (detailed images are available in the photo gallery). Compared with the first generation, 991.2 is updated front and rear fascias, new headlights, and three-dimensionally sculpted taillights. To preserve the finish, Xpel paint protection film has been applied over the entire front end, a-pillars, mirrors, rockers, door handles, and the area between the windshield and the sunroof.  Additionally, ceramic coating has been applied over the full exterior including the wheels and glass. Optional cosmetic details include SportDesign side mirrors and 20" Carrera Sport Wheels wrapped in new Michelin Pilot Sport N-spec tires dated March 2020.

Inside this 991.2 you will find a two-tone Graphite Blue and Chalk leather interior. The cabin is said to be in great condition with all electronics remaining fully functional.  With an MSRP of $133k, this well-appointed coupe features the following optional equipment:

  • 022     Instrument Dials in Black
  • 250     Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK)
  • 457     Lane Change Assist (LCA)

Power comes from a 3.0L twin-turbocharged flat-six engine that is capable of producing 420 HP.  The rear wheels are driven by way of a 7-speed PDK transmission which allows this coupe to accelerate from 0-60 MPH in approximately 3 seconds. Further enhancing performance is the Sport Package which includes Rear-Axle Steering, the Sport Chrono package, the Sport Exhaust System, dynamic engine mounts, and launch control.  Maintained exclusively through authorized Porsche dealerships and reported to be up to date on all service, this coupe recently had its water pump replaced under warranty and is said to be in excellent condition for its next owner.

Included in the sale of this 991.2 are 2 keys, books, a flat tire kit, OEM sun visor, Carfax report, and a clean title.

Can you advise the date when the original Porsche warranty runs out. Wasn’t sure if this was a 5 year or not.

@ainsworth88 and the factory warranty is up in February 2022 (or at 50,000 miles).

  • oscarello (seller) 3 days, 12 hoursago

@ainsworth88 Was planning on keeping the car for much longer, but I somewhat unexpectedly ended up buying a house just last month. My heart would like to live in the house and keep the 911, but the brain is telling me otherwise.

  • ainsworth88 (registered bidder) 3 days, 12 hoursago

@oscarello Looks like you have owned the car for about 1 year. Why are you selling so soon?
Please verify when the warranty expires

  • oscarello (seller) 3 days, 17 hoursago

@ainsworth88 I've not purchased any extended warranty. And yes, I have all the receipts from services and warranty fixes during my ownership.

  • ainsworth88 (registered bidder) 3 days, 17 hoursago

Looks like manufacture's warranty ends about 2/2022 according to Carfax. Any extended warranty? Do you have all service receipts?

  • oscarello (seller) 4 days, 12 hoursago

@irishgator I believe that’s an error with the VIN database, car is definitely not Bordeaux red. Wondering if the order was changed last minute.

Happy to dig deeper if needed!

Why does the COA list the interior as Bordeaux Red?

    @Excel61 – thank you!

    1. The interior is indeed graphite blue and chalk, not grey/black and chalk. I believe the photos were processed in some way (perhaps HDR) by PCarMarket and thus turned the blue hue to grey.

    2. I believe that is some damage to the clearbra from a rock chip. And from what I can see, the paint underneath is good.

    3. The left passenger seat lever was rattling while driving, so I had that replaced under warranty. That noise is now gone.

Nice car. However, I have a few questions.
    1) The interior states Graphite Blue and Chalk. Not being familiar with Graphite Blue, is it essentially black in color? I’m not seeing blue.
    2) In photo 72 is that spot a ding or blemish in the metal trim?
    3) The car fax shows while in service, they were attempting to locate a noise. Please explain what noise is being observed.
    Thank you,
