This Carrera S comes finished in Racing Yellow with a matching painted model designation, optional SportDesign exterior mirrors, LED headlights, and wheel caps with colored Porsche crests. The 20” Carrera S wheels come painted in Jet Black Metallic with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. Older paint protection film was recently removed, and the seller describes the underlying finish to have been preserved in excellent condition. If this was a PEC car and the motor was replaced, do you know if anything else was replaced like the clutch, brakes, etc.? I assume if it was a PEC car it would have been tracked for the first xxxx miles of its life then cleaned up for sale. I do not see any cars for sale on the Atlanta PEC site, but have always wondered what happens with the cars they use once they are done with them.

@Jsanders Yes, of course. PEC is an acronym for Porsche Experience Center. Porsche has cars on hand to show prospective clients and for "driver education." We have been led to believe this was such a car, though we have nothing definitive to show. Carfax makes no reference to it, nor the engine replacement, but it was indeed completed. Porsche essentially CPO's these cars and sells them "as new" once they are done. This car had a 5-year warranty associated with it when sold to this original owner. We have verified this car is currently eligible for CPO, should a bidder wish to add warranty once again. This car is in impeccable shape throughout, and we are only making every effort to provide transparency and complete and thorough information to prospective bidders.
@RADExotics Can you explain what it means to be a "PEC" car? Do you know why the engine was replaced after 1,500 miles?

Thank you for the bids and comments. An important note: it was just brought to our attention from an individual who is familiar with this car, which is that it may have originated as a "PEC" car. Porsche replaced the motor at approximately 1,500 miles on the odometer and THEN sold it as a new car with a 5-year warranty. We have consulted with a Porsche dealer we know well, and they have confirmed that the car is eligible for CPO and there is nothing in its history that is cause for concern. Given the condition, both physically and mechanically, we have full faith and confidence, but the CPO option is available post purchase (for around$5k). @Dozer PPF was peeling around the edges (I don’t know which brand or who originally installed but it was not perfect). Once removed the car looked like new. The paint underneath was perfectly preserved so PPF did its hob. And yes, all original factory paint.
