20k-Mile 2017 Porsche 991.2 Targa 4S

Up for auction is this 2017 Porsche 991.2 Targa 4S finished in GT Silver Metallic over a Graphite Blue leather interior.  Sold new from Porsche West Broward of Florida at an original sticker price of over $161k, this Targa 4S came optioned with the Sport Exhaust System, Sport Chrono Package, Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC), Front Axle Lift System, Rear Axle Steering, extended leather upholstery, Porsche crested headrests, and much more.  Having remained under the care of its original owner up until earlier in 2021, this Targa 4S has enjoyed a lifetime of service carried out by the original selling Porsche dealership and is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Connecticut with just over 20k miles showing on the odometer.

This 991.2 comes finished in GT Silver Metallic with a silver Targa band and blue roof panel. Optional features include SportDesign mirrors, painted rear logos, LED headlights, and exclusive 20” Carrera Sport wheels.  A full paint correction was performed upon the seller’s acquisition in October of 2021 and the car has been kept indoors ever since.  A few small imperfections are noted including some signs of road-going wear on the passenger-side rocker panel and one small chip on the edge of the driver-side door.  Additional images are provided in the gallery along with a clean one-owner CARFAX report.  The factory optional wheels come dressed in a set of Nitto tires dated from 2020 with approximately 10/32” of tread remaining in front and 9/32” remaining in the rear. The seller has offered to mount a set of brand new factory-spec Pirelli P-Zero tires at no extra cost to the next owner.

Inside, this Targa sports a Graphite Blue leather interior with extended leather trim on the dashboard, exclusive Porsche crested headrests, and a PDK gear selector in aluminum.  The driver is also supplied with the Sport Chrono Package, 18-way Adaptive Sport Seats Plus, the Bose Surround Sound System, a GT Sport steering wheel, and the Front Axle Lift System which enables the nose of the vehicle to be raised and lowered for extra clearance.  A complete list of factory options is provided below:

@cibenglish Thanks for your interest. There was a spot repair on the rear bumper. The entire bumper was not painted. Video will be uploaded in a few.

  • cibenglish (registered bidder) 6 monthsago

Nice looking car. Can you confirm that the rear bumper cover is the original , if it was sprayed or if it was buffed out. I googled the Vin and came back with pictures that show what could have been a garage door closing mark on the left side of the rear bumper. Thank you

@RichJ1615 Hi Rich, hope everyone has a good holiday. We will be open tomorrow and snap some more pics as well as videos.

We are trying to be as transparent as possible. Just to be clear this is a no stories one owner Targa 4S. Tomorrow we will try to do a video walk around before auction ends.

  • RichJ1615 6 monthsago

Is the “small chip on the edge of the driver-side door” obvious in any picture? Since it was worth mentioning, I wanted to see it. Thanks. Enjoy the holidays!

@SKEDADDLE Hi Butch, I wanted to let you know that what you were referring to as black asphalt or chipping is the tire dressing that was put on the tires. The tire dressing got on the vehicle when it was driven to its photoshoot location.

  • laurinap (registered bidder) 6 months, 1 weekago

@SKEDADDLE Beautiful car, but as noted, need to understand if that is black chipping on paint or dirt.

@butchlobo Hi Butch, I am not seeing that. Can you show me which picture you see it in?

  • butchlobo (registered bidder) 6 months, 1 weekago

Regarding the "road wear", it looks like there is black asphalt on the panels behind the front wheels and in front of the rear wheels. Is this the case or is it something else? Are these chips in the paint that would require a re-spray to fix?

  • SKEDADDLE (seller) 6 months, 1 weekago

@Ryanaerickson Hi Ryan, unlike most dealers who just wash and polish cars, we wash, clay bar compound, remove every swirl or scratch in the clear coat. It's a two-day process depending on the car and restores the paint to the way it was when it left the factory.

  • Ryanaerickson (registered bidder) 6 months, 1 weekago

What is meant by “A full paint correction”?
