The F82 M4 is the high-performance version of BMW's 4-Series coupe, equipped with a twin-turbocharged S55 inline six-cylinder engine. The M4 Competition was announced in 2016 and features a redesigned adaptive M suspension, retuned Dynamic Stability control, 20” forged wheels, lightweight seats, and an output of 444 HP. This 2018 example was specified in Black Sapphire Metallic over a Black Merino leather interior and optioned with the Competition Package, Executive Package, a rear sunblind, Apple CarPlay, wireless charging, Park Distance Control sensors, and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. This 2018 M4 Competition is now being offered at auction by its seller out of Florida showing just over 38k miles on the odometer.

The exterior is finished in Black Sapphire Metallic (475) with extended high-gloss black Shadowline trim. Equipment includes model-specific front and rear bumper covers, M4-branded fender vents, aerodynamic door mirrors with integral turn indicators, a carbon fiber roof panel, LED headlamps and foglights, and four black exhaust finishers. A carbon fiber front lip and carbon fiber trunk lid spoiler were fitted under previous ownership. The CARFAX report indicates minor damage occurred at the front end in June of 2018, and the seller reports some paint chips on the bumper and hood, detailed images are available in the gallery along with the full CARFAX report. The 20” BMW Style 666M wheels are equipped with the Competition Package and come mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport tires from 2020.

The interior features two 10-way power-adjustable heated sport seats upholstered in Black Merino leather with M tri-color stitched safety belts. Carbon fiber trim lines the dashboard, center console, and door panels. The optional Executive Package equips a heads-up display, the Parking Assistant, side and top view cameras, automatic high beams, and Speed Limit Info. Additional options include a rear roller sunblind, Park Distance Control sensors, Apple Carplay, and wireless charging. Standard features consist of a BMW Professional Navigation system, a Harman Kardon Surround Sound System, a leather-wrapped multi-function steering wheel, automatic climate control, a rearview camera, Comfort Access keyless entry, push-button ignition, and dynamic cruise control. The seller reports some minor signs of wear throughout the cabin.

The M4 carries a 3.0-liter S55 inline-six that produces up to 444 HP and 406 lb.-ft of torque when equipped with the Competition Package. The rear wheels are driven by a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and Active M electronic limited-slip differential which can propel the M4 from 0-60 MPH in approximately 4 seconds to an electronically governed top speed of 155 MPH. The Competition Package provides an M-tuned suspension with stiffer springs and shocks as well as thicker sway bars, and revised programming for the electronic differential and Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) system for a higher slip threshold. The seller reports a multi-point inspection was completed upon their acquisition as well as the replacement of the battery and oil service.
