Up for auction is this 2018 BMW F82 M4 Competition finished in Alpine White over a black Merino leather interior. Introduced in 2014 as the successor to the E92 M3, the F82 M4 is the high-performance version of BMW's 4-Series coupe. The M4 Competition was announced in 2016 and features a redesigned adaptive M suspension, retuned Dynamic Stability control, 20” forged wheels, lightweight seats, and a power increase to 444 HP. This 2018 example was kept in a climate-controlled facility as part of a large private collection and was acquired by its second owner in April of 2021. Now showing approximately 14,500 miles on the odometer, this M4 Competition is being offered for auction by its seller out of California.

This M4 was ordered in nonmetallic Alpine White (300) accented by high-gloss black Shadowline trim. The M4 can be identified by its aggressive front and rear bumpers, aerodynamic mirrors, carbon-fiber roof panel, and quad exhaust finishers. The 2018 model year introduced the M4’s first Life Cycle Impulse (LCI) update including new LED headlights and tail lights. The M4 Competition is powered by a 3.0L twin-turbocharged S55 inline-six engine, rated at 444 HP and 406 lb.-ft of torque. Power is delivered to the rear wheels via a 7-speed M-DCT dual-clutch transmission and an electronically-controlled Active M limited-slip differential. From a standstill, the M4 can reach 60 MPH in as little as 4 seconds with an electronically governed top speed of 155 MPH. The Competition Package equips specially tuned springs, dampers, and anti-roll bars as well as revised programming for the electronic differential and Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) system. There are no outstanding maintenance items reported at this time.
