We are pleased to present this 2018 McLaren 720S Performance Coupe finished in McLaren Orange over a black Nappa leather and Alcantara interior. Released in 2017, the 720S is the second vehicle in the McLaren Super Series and features a twin-turbocharged V8 producing over 700 HP along with a MonoCage II carbon-fiber monocoque chassis, ProActive Chassis Control II dynamic suspension system, carbon-fiber aerodynamics, carbon-ceramic brakes, and specialized electronic stability control systems. This particular example had been used as a flagship press car before it was acquired directly from McLaren by the current owner. This 720S features almost every available option at an original MSRP of over $376k, including special exterior paint with matching brake calipers, the 720S Performance trim package, visible carbon-fiber body structure, Exterior Carbon-Fiber Packs 2 & 3, carbon-fiber upper door inserts, carbon-fiber interior trims, carbon-fiber racing seats, vehicle lift, a sport exhaust system, and 10-spoke super lightweight forged wheels. This 720S also received some exclusive options from McLaren Special Operations (MSO) Defined including carbon-fiber shift paddles and a carbon-fiber Aero Bridge over the carbon-fiber rear deck and engine cover. Benefitting from over $17k in recent service, this 720S remains covered under extended warranty and is now being offered at auction by its seller out of New York showing approximately 34k miles on the odometer.
This 720S is finished in special order McLaren Orange (3211) and features extensive optional carbon-fiber accents including a front splitter and rear valence, hood and fender intakes, door mirror casings, upper door moldings, engine cover, rear deck, and MSO Defined Aero Bridges, which guide air into the high-temperature radiators and create a sweeping, elegant frame around the glasshouse of the cockpit. The 720S is built on a carbon-fiber monocoque chassis called MonoCage II, which shares the same tub as the McLaren Senna, Speedtail, and Elva supercar. Other exterior details include optional exposed carbon fiber inside the A-pillars, matching McLaren Orange brake calipers, power-adjustable heated exterior mirrors, full LED headlamps, and thin LED tail lights inspired by the McLaren P1. Some signs of road-going wear are noted and the seller states this 720S saw limited track time during its use as a press car, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. Optional 10-spoke super-lightweight forged wheels wear a Stealth finish and new Pirelli P-Zero Corsa tires.
The interior is upholstered in black Nappa leather with McLaren orange accents on the center stack and door pulls. Black Alcantara covers the center console, seatbacks, steering wheel, and dashboard. Optional carbon-fiber trim encompasses the steering wheel, A-pillars, instrument panel, sill panels, and center console. The carbon-fiber bucket seats feature McLaren Orange contrast stitching, embossed McLaren logos in the headrests, and optional McLaren Orange seat belts. Other options include a Carbon Black Alcantara steering wheel with MSO defined carbon-fiber shift paddles, an interior luggage retention strap, and a fire extinguisher. The driver is also supplied with an 8” portrait screen infotainment system, dual-zone automatic climate control, a tilting Driver Display panel, and a 4-speaker audio system.
The twin-turbocharged M840T V8 produces up to 710 HP and 568 lb.-ft of torque, driving the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and open differential with Brake Steer. The 720S can reach 60 MPH from a standstill in less than 3 seconds and comes standard with carbon-ceramic brake rotors paired with 6-piston calipers in front and 4-piston calipers in the rear. The ProActive Chassis Control II system measures road conditions and calibrates suspension settings for optimal ride quality and handling. A recent service included new suspension accumulators, brakes, tires, and wheel alignment. This 720S remains covered by an extended transferable warranty until May of 2022.

Hi everyone, just dropping in to say I'll be doing my best to monitor the auction and answer your questions. To get the first one out of the way, yes, cccmanhattan is Classic Car Club Manhattan, so yes, this car was in our fleet and driven by our members. While that does mean it was driven by multiple drivers and covered some miles, it also means it was checked and monitored everytime it went out, it had full factory service throughout it's history and since we work very closely with Mclaren and run their NY Press fleet, everything was attended to with direct support from the factory.
