@MK45 oh and I neglected to mention, the PTS car I mentioned sold for what I said it did: $201,500 with buyer premium. But again, no offense taken, just clarifying.

  • RADExotics (seller) 2 years, 6 monthsago

@MK45 all good, I take no offense. You’re point on the PDK is valid, but I had previously stated that I was happy to make DME report a contingency, which hopefully shows openness and honesty. The car really is as described. Apparently you’re local, hope you make it in.

Are these comments binding? I’m just trying to keep the seller honest and open. Not sure why extra information is seen as controversial. He mentioned another car that was sold for less than he quoted and wasn’t even a manual… take that as you will. Regardless, this car does look great and my comments shouldn’t turn anyone away, I never actually said anything bad about the car!

@RADexotics your being very reasonable with MK45. He's NOT your buyer anyway so dont let a guy like this get under your skin. Beautiful short mile garage queen GT3 hand shaker. Worth every penny it sells for today to a buyer that wont question it's overall condition...GLWS

Looks like a nicely presented GT3, someone will be happy I am sure. Black makes it look very stealthy.

  • asbury12gut (registered bidder) 2 years, 6 monthsago

@MK45 The seller said he will make sale contingent upon a dme report. What are you looking for? Unless you’re trying to cause an issue to keep price down for your own benefit… what’s your deal. This GT3 seems to be like a new car!

@RADExotics that car that sold for $196k? It wasn’t a manual, so of course no one asked for a DME. DME reports are important to check if there are any overrevs, which is why it’s requested on manual cars, not PDK equipped cars. @MK45 while THIS store may be new. I am not. I’ve been in this business for 25 years and no, that’s not the case, except for internet forums. I’ve already stated very clearly that the winning bid is contingent on an acceptable DME report if the winning bidder so desires (at their expense, naturally). This car is in impeccable condition throughout. I sold a PTS green car on Pcar two weeks ago for $200k+ and nobody even brought up DME, just to belabor my point.

Just for reference, this dealership is brand new. I've seen it going up recently where an old Volvo dealer used to be, and was just finished. This may be why they're of the mindset that a "PPI (inspection by another dealer) is something that, without exception, I never allow." A DME report is also 100% industry standard on a Manual GT Porsche. My guess is they'll change their tune if they want to sell anything ?

@mjb2020 nothing unreasonable or even arguable here! I am a Porsche person myself, who also likes acronyms AND alliteration. I once had a Ferrari 355gts dropped (literally) off of a flatbed on its way to a PPI, and that was the LAST time I ever considered allowing one! But I only meant to clarify the confusion between PPI and PPF. Fair point on DME, I guess that’s true of almost anything. This car is super clean and has suffered no apparent abuse, I hope it lands in good hands! Thank you.

  • mjb2020 (registered bidder) 2 years, 6 monthsago

thanks for the reply. as a porsche owner and buyer i think that an independent review of a car through a ppi is a good idea when buying a car unseen. i think the dme report can be modified and useless at times with a disreputable seller but is another piece of info that gives some of us a more complete picture. i have seen many gt4 or gt3 trashed on the track then reverted back to stock for sale as a low mileage example. as one of the “porsche people” i can’t believe we have been labeled as abusers of acronyms LOL. BTW GLWS

  • RADExotics (seller) 2 years, 7 monthsago

I think there is some acronym confusion here, which is understandable given the plethora put forward by porsche people. I’ll do my best to clarify: PPI (inspection by another dealer) is something that, without exception, I never allow. PPF (clear film) is an easy one, happy to have one of our vendors install. The car has 3k miles and no discernible rock chips, which is indicative of the way the car was used and maintained (not a track car). DME: pointless in my experience, which is extensive, but they are now a staple of internet forums…I am happy to have one completed if the car meets reserve. I will state here that the buyer can make the winning bid contingent upon the report showing no unusual activity, as that is a virtual certainty. I hope this offers some level of confidence, the car is in extraordinary condition throughout. good luck!

  • mjb2020 (registered bidder) 2 years, 7 monthsago

this spec is my ideal one, yet I am reluctant to bid near its true value due to a lack of DME info and a PPI...look, these are the same requests that all buyers make on used porsche so why wouldn't pcarmarket just mandate this info ? Just an idea. If I had the assurance of these items, which would cost the seller about 300 on a car worth over 170,000, I would bid further

There is no PPF on the car, but can certainly be added at buyer’s request. No “DME report” is currently available.

  • mjb2020 (registered bidder) 2 years, 7 monthsago

yes a dme report and ppi would be very helpful here

  • doobooloo (registered bidder) 2 years, 7 monthsago

@RADExotics Is there a DME report showing over rev ranges that you can provide? Also, any PPF on the car? Thank you.

  • RADExotics (seller) 2 years, 7 monthsago

@CaptBob of course. send details in direct message to me or to pcar!

Any interest in a trade with my 2017 Porsche 911 Turbo S?

  • BarryLe (registered bidder) 2 years, 7 monthsago

@dgrobs @dgrobs; I agree with you totally. My track days are behind me although I still do a bit of performance driving at the Palm Beach Driving Club. I would miss the 18 way adjustable seats, the Bose, and a few other items. This car is meant for serious track use.

  • dgrobs (registered bidder) 2 years, 7 monthsago

@BarryLe Lap times won’t be affected by a non leather interior. 3 pedals. Needs to go to someone who will put safety in and track her. I have this exact car in PTS Viper Green. One of my track toys. King of the Glen….

  • BarryLe (registered bidder) 2 years, 7 monthsago

I am guessing that the very light spec on this GT 3 is depressing the level of interest in this car. I am personally very tempted but I know that the lack of a full leather interior will bother me immensely should I end up owning it.
