Available here for auction is this 2018 Tesla Model 3 finished in Midnight Silver Metallic over a black leather interior. Designed to be Tesla’s more affordable all-electric model, the Model 3 has quickly become the best-selling all-electric car in history since its release in 2017. This 2018 example was originally purchased by the seller’s son in California, and moved to the east coast at the end of 2021. It comes equipped with 18” Aero wheels, a long-range battery, and an enhanced autopilot. Now showing approximately 66k miles on the odometer, this Model 3 is being offered for auction by its owner out of New York.
The Model 3 borrows design language from the Model S but in a 20% smaller package. This example is finished in Midnight Silver Metallic and has had all exterior chrome trim replaced with black pieces. Exterior features include full LED lighting, aerodynamic fascias, automatic pop-out door handles, and a large glass roof. It rides on a set of grey finished 18” Aero wheels which come dressed in a set of Goodyear eagle sport tires bearing date codes from 2020. The cabin is trimmed in black and features an upgraded matching black center console. The cabin of the Model 3 has forgone more traditional layouts in favor of a more minimalist setup with no instrument cluster, and a horizontally oriented 15.0-inch touchscreen display. Amenities include Dual-zone climate control, navigation, a backup camera, FM/Internet radio, voice controls, Wi-Fi and LTE connectivity, and power windows and mirrors. The premium Enhanced Autopilot feature is equipped which will automatically keep your land and change lanes in some conditions, exit the freeway, and self-park.
The Model 3 is powered by an electric motor which drives the rear wheels and is equipped with long-range options which increases driving range from 220 miles to 310 miles. The CARFAX highlights a single service in 2021, and the seller notes that no other services have been performed. The long-range Model 3 is able to recharge to as much as 170 miles of range within 30 minutes according to Tesla.

@Extratier Hi,The car is 2.5. I consulted with my son who has a Performance Model 3 and wants Full Service Driving. It is our understanding that in order to get it as you may know, you need to purchase it. It seems that it can be purchased monthly or bought outright according to my son. According to his understanding, Tesla will upgrade your car if it is a model with 2 or 2.5HW to 3 if you do the full purchase. If you want to do the monthly then you have to pay for the upgrade in addition to the monthly fee.. I hope I am giving you correct information about the purchase/rental. It my best understanding of what I read.

Thanks. Would it possible for you to upload a photo of the hardware version as FSD will be my primary goal in bidding for a Tesla. It seems like it is HW2.5 unless you have specifically upgraded it to HW3. HW3 is necessary for FSD beta enrollment.

To determine which hardware level of autopilot the car has, go to the main menu in the car and select Software. There should be the option to see "Additional vehicle information". Click this and you should see a list of hardware including the Autopilot computer version.
@Extratier As I understand, it is software turned on by service. My other Model 3 I purchased it with the car when I bought it. Tesla just upgraded that car with a new computer to accomodate new coming software. It seems it can be turned on and off by service with car.

@OttoBozart I forgot to mention that when we are in Italy, we keep the car on charge and found no problems when we return to the USA. Just get in and drove away.
@OttoBozart Hi, and thank you for your interest in my car. If you look at the bottom of the images there is a photo of the current charging of my car. I stopped the charge 30 mins short of completion at 306 miles. As of yet there has been no deterioration in the total miles charging that I see.
I have three Model 3s and plan to upgrade to the Y next year. My son is driving my performance in California and my wife the other. I am married to an Italian and we have a place in Italy. We were trapped in Italy during COVID and unable to return to America for 18 months. We really enjoyed our time there and have decided to spend at least half a year there so the need for a third car seems a bit over the top. I am almost 80 years old and semi retired and spending more time at home and less time in a car but that being said, I really enjoy driving the car. I grew up on a farm in Oklahoma and started driving when I was 10 years old. My dad in addition to being a farmer was an auto mechanic and taught me the trade. These electric cars are amazing and driving them is a different experience than fossil fuel powered cars. This car has never needed mechanical repair. I replaced the 12 volt battery 3 months ago to insure the next couple of years will follow the same pattern. The tires are our extra winter set and have very few miles on them. There is a set of snow chains in the Frunk, Tesla rubber matts and as we are down grading to only one the second garage charger is included. The car also has the portable charger included. We are bicycle enthusiast so there is a hidden trailer hitch that can be snapped in under the bumper and 5 sec detach when not in use. My son, has black out most of the chrome with a kit he bought so it would look cool but that can be removed I an told very easily. If you have other question, pls be in touch.
The introduction states an advertised range of 310 miles. Do you find this to be accurate and has the range of a full charged decreased over the past four years?
Nice to see that you’ve used the car as a daily driver, as indicated by the average annual mileage exceeding 15000 miles per year. Are you replacing this with another EV and if so, will it be another Tesla? GLWTA
@rhm58 good morning and thank you for your interest in my car. The model 3 does not come with a heated steering wheel but does come with heated seats and you can preheat the car with your app so when you arrive it’s at your desirable temperature.
