We are pleased to present this 2019 Ferrari 488 Pista finished in Rosso Corsa over a Nero leather interior. Deriving its namesake from the Italian word for track, the 488 Pista was offered as the high-performance version of Ferraris flagship mid-engine supercar, influenced by the 488 GTE and 488 Challenge race variants. It features extensive use of lightweight materials, race-inspired aerodynamics, and a host of electronic innovations to provide an unprecedented level of performance.  Offering an output of up to 710 HP, the 3.9L twin-turbocharged engine in the Pista was the most powerful V8 ever created by Ferrari. This 2019 example boasts an original MSRP of over $420k and highlights the optional front suspension lift system, AFS headlights, carbon-fiber aerodynamics, an aluminum rev counter, Apple Carplay integration, and more. This 488 comes finished in traditional Rosso Corsa (322) with two-tone racing stripes in Argento Nurburgring and Nero, a $15,187 option. Thanks to the extensive use of lightweight aluminum, titanium, and carbon fiber, the Pista weighs almost 200 lbs. less than the standard 488 GTB, which gave the Pista the lowest power-to-weight ratio of any production car in Ferrari history. The Pista uses redesigned aerodynamics derived from Ferrari’s 488 Challenge race cars that help provide a 20% increase in downforce over the standard 488 GTB. The revised front bumper features the Formula 1-derived S-Duct, which applies downforce to the front axle while directing air along the underbody towards the rear diffuser, which then uses variable active flaps to push air out from underneath. Optional details include carbon-fiber side air splitters, carbon-fiber rear molding, black ceramic exhaust pipes, Scuderia fender shields, Ferrari Advanced Frontlighting System headlights (AFS), and black painted Brembo brake calipers. The cabin of this 488 is trimmed in Nero leather with thick contrast stitching and carbon-fiber racing seats embroidered with Ferrari emblems on the headrests. Leather upholstery covers the dashboard, center console, and door panels, while carbon fiber inlays and red accent stripes are present throughout the cabin. Driver amenities include a radio and navigation system with Bluetooth connectivity, Apple CarPlay, dual-zone automatic climate control, a racing seat lifter, a front suspension lifter, and a parking camera. The steering wheel is trimmed in carbon fiber with column-mounted carbon-fiber paddle shifters, a Manettino driving-mode selector, and LED shift lights along the top. Instrumentation consists of an aluminum-faced 10k-RPM tachometer flanked by digital displays on either side.

The 488 Pista is powered by a dry-sump 3.9L twin-turbocharged V8 which generates up to 710 HP at 8,000 RPM thanks to the use of higher compression, revised camshafts, a larger intercooler, strengthened pistons, titanium connecting rods, and thin-walled Inconel exhaust manifolds borrowed from the 488 Challenge race car. The rear wheels are driven by a 7-speed dual-clutch F1 transmission which allows for gear changes in as little as 30 milliseconds with the race mode engaged. The Pista can accelerate to 60 MPH from a standstill in as little as 2.8 seconds while reaching a top speed of 225 MPH as claimed by Ferrari. The Pista incorporates a multitude of Formula One-inspired race technology like the Side-Slip Angle Control system, an E-Diff electronic differential, Ferrari Dynamic Enhancer traction control, and a magnetorheological active suspension that allows the driver to make the most of the Pista’s impressive performance. Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes are equipped as standard and come paired with cross-drilled 398mm discs in the front and 360mm in the rear. This 488 Pista has received all routine maintenance through authorized dealerships and is covered by the balance of its factory warranty.
