We are pleased to offer this 2019 Ferrari 488 Spider finished in Blu Tour de France Metallic. The first mid-engine Ferrari to use a turbocharged V8 since the legendary F40 supercar, the 488 debuted at the Geneva Auto Show in March of 2015 and was named “Supercar of the Year” by Top Gear magazine as well as Motor Trend's "Best Driver's Car" of 2017. This 2019 open-top Spider version showcases a beautiful Cuoio leather interior with contrasting blue leather accents, special stitching, Alcantara, carbon fiber trim, and full electric Daytona-style seats. Having traveled just over 1,500 miles from new, this 488 Spider is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New Jersey.
This 488 is finished in Blu Tour de France Metallic and sports optional Scuderia shields on the front fenders. Designed in-house by the Ferrari Styling Centre under the direction of Flavio Manzoni, the bodywork of the 488 offers 50% more downforce compared to its predecessor the 458 and utilizes a new front double splitter, integrated rear spoiler, underbody vortex generators, and a larger rear diffuser that works in conjunction with active aerodynamic flaps. The front end of the car remains preserved under Xpel clear paint protection film, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. Optional blue-painted brake calipers are tucked behind 20” Forged Diamond wheels dressed in a set of Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires.
The cabin is appointed in classic Cuoio leather and Alcantara with special stitching, carbon fiber trim, contrasting blue carpeting, and a blue leather dashboard. The full-electric Daytona-style seats feature leather backrests, embroidered headrest logos, Alcantara perforated inserts, and blue seatbelts. The steering wheel is trimmed in carbon fiber and blue leather and features LED tachometer lights along the top. Other features include a yellow rev counter, colored floormats with logos, front and rear parking sensors, Advanced Frontlighting System (AFS) headlights, and a front suspension lifter.
The 488 is powered by an all-aluminum dry-sump 3.9L V8 engine with two parallel twin-scroll turbochargers. As much as 661 HP and 561 lb.-ft of torque are sent to the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission with automatic and manual shifting modes. Acceleration from 0-60 MPH is accomplished in approximately 3 seconds with a top speed over 200 MPH. Stopping power is handled by large carbon-ceramic disc brakes derived from the LaFerrari hypercar. CARFAX shows a history of annual routine maintenance as well as an inspection performed by Lamborghini Paramus in June of 2021 at 1,527 miles.
