Offering a visceral and uncompromised driving experience, the 718 Boxster Spyder combines the high-performance underpinnings of the Cayman GT4 with a unique open-top design inspired by vintage Porsche racing cars. This 2021 example is finished in Black over a matching leather and Race-Tex interior, optioned with black-painted exterior details, full bucket seats, Bose Surround Sound, and a 7-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) transmission. It was acquired from the original owner about one year ago and is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Iowa showing under 1,500 miles on the odometer.

The Spyder features a shortened windscreen compared to a standard Boxster along with bodywork from the Cayman GT4 and a unique double-fairing tonneau cover. This 718 is finished in Black with optional brake calipers in High-Gloss Black, LED headlights, and a rear PORSCHE logo in Satin Black. It rides on 20” 718 Spyder wheels in Satin Black with Michelin Pilot Sport tires. The seller notes the full front end has been preserved under clear paint protection film, additional images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

The cabin is trimmed in Black leather and Race-Tex upholstery and includes full bucket seats, an optional heated multifunction steering wheel, auto-dimming mirrors, Navigation incl. Porsche Connect, Smartphone Compartment, and Apple CarPlay.

The 718 Spyder derives up to 414 HP from a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine shared with the Cayman GT4. A 7-speed PDK transmission sends power to the rear wheels, launching the Spyder from 0-60 MPH in under 4 seconds. The seller states the first service has yet to be completed and the car remains under the coverage of its factory warranty.

Funny, I feel the same way about the Spyder. Love the style including the double humped tonneau cover!!! Would love to upgrade my Boxster S to a Spyder one day. Unfortunately, I’d probably have to trade in my wife as well… I think she’d try to strangle me ?! Curious, why are you selling?
