The 2022 model receives a modernized facelift and carries one of Audi’s last naturally aspirated engines, a 5.2-liter V-10 engine that produces over 560 HP. This R8 benefits from optional factory equipment including the Sport Exhaust Package, red-painted brake calipers, and the Premium Package. Remaining under factory warranty until 2025, this example is now being offered for auction by its original out of Texas with just under 2k miles showing on the odometer.
The body of the 2022 model has been updated with refined lines that showcase classic R8 styling as well as sharper front and rear bumpers, larger exhaust outlets, and three inlets above the grille paying homage to the legendary Sport Quattro Group B rally car. Finished in Florett Silver Metallic, this R8 features black exhaust tips, red brake calipers, and 20” 5-V-Spoke-Evo design wheels paired with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. The R8 V10 Performance Coupe stays true to its roots with a naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V10 engine, underpinned by the Audi Space Frame composed of aluminum and fragments of carbon. The engine provides 402 lb.-ft of torque and 562 HP to the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, enabling a launch from 0-60 MPH in just 3.6 seconds. The sport-tuned mechanics are accompanied by gas-pressurized shock absorbers, a mechanical limited-slip differential, and double-wishbone front and rear suspensions. The seller adds the car has been maintained exclusively by an authorized Audi dealer and corresponding service entired are provided on the CARFAX report.
