DT: 2022 Maserati MC20

The ultimate expression of Maserati’s style and performance, the MC20 pairs an ultra-lightweight carbon fiber chassis with a new twin-turbocharged V6 engine producing over 620 HP. This 2022 example is finished in Vintage Ochre over a Nero and Grigio leather interior, featuring optional carbon ceramic brakes, a carbon engine cover, an E-LSD transmission, a premium sound system, a suspension lifter, and Exterior Carbon Fiber Package. Driven less than 500 miles since delivery to its first owner in Texas, this MC20 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of California.

The aerodynamic bodywork incorporates an aggressive front splitter, side skirts, and rear diffusers well as a transparent engine cover and butterfly-style doors. This MC20 is finished in Vintage Ochre, an option from Maserati’s premium Fuoriserie color palette. Other options include black brake calipers, a black roof, and 20” Birdcage Gloss Black Diamond wheels. The $35k Carbon Fiber Exterior Package was also selected which adds dark exhaust tips, a fiberglass bonnet, and carbon fiber for the front splitter, rear diffuser, door, and wing sills. The cabin is appointed with Nero and Grigio upholstery including the Upgraded Leather and Alcantara Interior Package. Other options include stitched trident logos on the headrests, heated front seats, electrochromic exterior mirrors, blind spot detection, and a security alarm system.

Maserati’s Nettuno V6 is a 3.0-liter engine equipped with twin turbochargers and a dry-sump lubrication system. As much as 621 HP and 538 lb.-ft of torque are sent to the rear wheels through an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. Optioned with an electronic limited-slip differential (E-LSD), this MC20 can accelerate from 0-60 MPH in as little as 3 seconds with a claimed top speed of over 200 MPH. Standard performance features include launch control, a drive mode selector, and a double wishbone sport suspension with active dampers. This MC20 is accompanied by the remaining factory warranty.

    This is an absolutely stunning car but attempting to get 620hp. out of a 3 liter is nonsense. BMW could not do it and I suspect Mazzer can't either..
