The Mercedez-Benz SL Class has been reintroduced for 2022 with an AMG-exclusive lineup topped by the SL63 version, featuring a 577 HP V8 Biturbo engine. This example comes finished in Obsidian Black Metallic over a Red Pepper and Black Nappa leather interior. It has been generously optioned with the Burmester High-End 3D Surround Sound System, the Driver Assistance Package, and carbon fiber interior trim. This SL63 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Texas with just over 50 miles on the odometer.
Constructed of aluminum, steel, magnesium, and carbon composite, the lightweight SL63 bodywork presents a lengthened wheelbase, a revised front grille, angular headlights and taillights, and a retractable soft top. The 21” AMG 10-Spoke Y-Design wheels are dressed in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. Detailed images are provided in the photo gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The interior is appointed with two-tone Red Pepper and Black Nappa leather. Optional equipment includes AMG carbon fiber trim, the Burmester High-End 3D Surround Sound System, and the Driver Assistance Package. The SL63 comes factory equipped with an AMG Performance steering wheel, active multi-contour seats with massage, an 11.9” touchscreen, dual-zone automatic climate control, a 64-color LED ambient lighting, a head-up display, and a removable wind deflector.
The handcrafted AMG 4.0-liter V8 Biturbo engine is equipped with active crankcase ventilation, repositioned intercoolers, and higher output. Up to 577 HP and 590 lb.-ft of torque are sent to all four wheels through the 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system and an AMG Speedshift MCT 9G 9-speed automatic transmission with AMG Dynamic Select. The SL63 is able to achieve a 0-60 MPH run in just 3.6 seconds, and a top speed of 194 MPH. The balance of the factory warranty remains in effect.
