This 2022 example was ordered in Paint to Sample Irish Green over black leather with cloth seat centers and also features optional Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB), a carbon-fiber roof, the Chrono Package, an extended range fuel tank, the Front Axle Lift System, and BOSE Surround Sound System. Delivered to California on St. Patrick’s Day and with just over 500 miles driven since, this Irish Green GT3 Touring is now being offered for auction by its original owner accompanied by the remainder of its factory 4-year / 50,000-mile factory warranty.

This GT3 was ordered in Paint to Sample Irish Green with the Touring Package in Black.  Among the most coveted historic Porsche colors and a personal favorite of Ferry Porsche’s, Irish Green was offered on the earliest 911s and chosen to adorn the one-millionth 911 produced in 2017. Other details on this GT3 include optional Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) calipers in High Gloss Black, Satin Black painted wheels, exclusive LED headlights in Black, and an exposed carbon-fiber roof panel.  The front end remains preserved under Xpel paint protection film, additional images are provided in the gallery.

The black interior features leather upholstery with cloth inserts on the optional full bucket seats.  Other optional details include interior trim inlays and door sills in carbon fiber as well as sun visors and roof lining in Race-Tex. The naturally aspirated 4.0L flat-six features individual throttle bodies and revs up to 9k-RPM while producing as much as 502 HP and 346 lb.-ft of torque.  Paired with the 6-speed GT Sport manual transmission, acceleration from 0-60 MPH is reached in as little as 3.7 seconds with a claimed top speed of 199 MPH.  Optional Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) are equipped while standard performance features include rear-axle steering, Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV), and a double-wishbone front suspension borrowed from the 911 RSR race car.  Ride height, camber, and the stiffness of the anti-roll bars can be individually adjusted on both axles. The balance of the factory warranty remains in effect.

This sale will include the original window sticker and a clean title (lien).

@PorscheGuys True but bank accounts and some others you mention don't have auction fee, sales tax, registration fees, property tax, insurance and loan interest. I am betting in year one that is going to add up to a -10% real return for cars like this.

Demanded collectable cars like this will not be dropping any time soon, IMO ….I saw this as a kid in the late ‘70’s and 80’s … Inflation hits … No One with a brain leaves any significant amount of $$ in the bank, getting 2% return, at a negative 10% a year “real” return ….. they will buy everything from crypto, cars, wine, watches, coins, stamps, real estate, etc
Just know exactly the asset class that your buying …little things make big differences, including with Porsches …. Best

  • HashishJackson (seller) 1 year, 12 monthsago

@ralt12 very true. Don’t think there’s a PTS available at all RN on the market

  • ralt12 (registered bidder) 1 year, 12 monthsago

Fabulous combination of color and option. Plus with production issues because of the Ukrainian conflict, won’t see one for a while. Helluva car.

  • Porsche415 (registered bidder) 1 year, 12 monthsago

Wow. This is the car for me. Green with Black interior. I hope the winner is not a dealer to hold but one who will drive and enjoy its beauty and power. I'm still enjoying my 2000 996
at 50,000 miles (No IMS isssues :) )

    Happy bidding!

@rsierra stock market down and interest rates up - it can only lead to one thing. 2+2 is still four.

    @rcrr7 color me jealous.

  • rcrr7 (registered bidder) 1 year, 12 monthsago

@rsierra I'm with you. Fortunately I've got mine already at $30K over MSRP

  • rsierra (registered bidder) 1 year, 12 monthsago

@rcrr7 Honestly and I hope I'm right, I don't see the correction effecting these types of cars much.

  • rcrr7 (registered bidder) 1 year, 12 monthsago

@allthingsporsches Funny. Enjoy the ride up flipping these things while it lasts.

  • allthingsporsches (registered bidder) 1 year, 12 monthsago

@rcrr7 if you are having economic issues doesn’t mean that goes for everyone

  • rcrr7 (registered bidder) 1 year, 12 monthsago

These are fall 2021, pre-economic meltdown prices. Good luck!

  • Racy (registered bidder) 2 yearsago

@jerry991 -- I do not remember seeing any listings on this web site or the competition's web site for a 992.2 GT3 Touring. If this is the first sale, it should be very interesting where the bar will be set for a rare offering.

  • jerry991 (registered bidder) 2 yearsago

I have been playing around with cars for more than 50 years and the situation today is nothing I have seen before. Of course, the seller has the absolute right to sell his car for as much as he can but I know I could never let a beauty like this go. What is unique today is how limited the availability is for new cars which is not limited to collector cars and limited edition cars. I can remember not too long ago how the 2016 911Rs went way up in value and then came back down to almost MSRP only to go way back up now. I just cannot see how this is going to end as the demand is so much greater than the supply. Older collector cars have a long history of cycles where they go up and then come down and then go up again, etc. This happened with Ferrari Daytonas and Ferrari Dinos and I would expect that to happen again but they are completely different animals from today's cars which are bringing so much whether Porsche, Ferrari, etc. So where we go from here I don't know but I just hope that whoever winds up owning this car drives it and enjoys it and doesn't just put it away and look at it.

  • Brian4lev (registered bidder) 2 yearsago

@HashishJackson absolutely beautiful car! GLWS! Stunner!

  • HashishJackson (seller) 2 yearsago

    @2ENF goes through PFS

  • 2ENF (registered bidder) 2 yearsago

What are details on title lien?
Is this car able to be transferred immediately following sale?

  • phurlston 2 yearsago

That's very close to a traditional British Racing Green. It's amazing how good Porsche's, and Lamborghini's for that matter, look in a BRG, but it's very rare to see.

  • RSFanboy (registered bidder) 2 yearsago

Wow! Other than leather color, wheel color and exterior plastic not being high gloss, this exactly how I would have speced this car.

@Johnny3 Tell me you know absolutely nothing about Porsche's or today's market without actually telling me your know nothing/clueless.

Good luck getting the brand new GT3 for MSRP/an allocation. I'll own twitter myself before you pull that off champ.

  • allthingsporsches (registered bidder) 2 yearsago

@Johnny3 do you have any idea what you just said ? Where can you get an allocation to build a new gt3 ? And how are you EVER planning to get 2022 for sticker is 18-19 tourings are 100-150k over list with 6-7k miles on them for pts that’s if you can find any to purchase period !

  • ScottyKenneth (registered bidder) 2 yearsago

    Wow

  • Johnny3 (registered bidder) 2 yearsago

@jattilah, lets not get ahead of ourselves. I can go order a GT3 if I want and, I also promise that you will be able to buy these cars, in their lifetime, below original sticker (assuming they're driven examples with real miles put on them). That said, once again, I completely support and understand the current environment/dynamic. I would say GLWTA but this car definitely doesn't need it

  • evokes (registered bidder) 2 yearsago

    I'm green with envy…

  • jattilah (registered bidder) 2 yearsago

@Johnny3 is not even that. If you could wait a few years and buy one for MSRP, that would be one thing, but that's just never going to happen.

You either need to pay $100K just for the allocation, or have a really strong relationship with a dealer, as in close personal friend of the owner, or have bought lots of cars from them.

You could wait ten years and still not be close to getting one otherwise. If I could plop down a deposit and pick one up in a couple of years for MSRP, I'd be all over it.

sorry I saw it thank you.

  • antoniodelgad68 (registered bidder) 2 yearsago

    Window sticker?

  • Johnny3 (registered bidder) 2 yearsago

This spec is OUTSTANDING (I love the color), as is the the trade...

Buy it from the dealer (must have put the order in over a year ago), $50-75k down, then sell it for $75k+ profit. Buyer(s) willing to pay it because it will be several years to take delivery of a similar one - "immediate gratification" is priceless.

    Kudos to all involved
