  @M.Klapp hi. I added photos that show this at different angles. I'm not sure if it is minor curb rash that was painted over or a powder coating reaction. I decided to get them painted because the original finish was aged and looked bad.

  In the first picture, lower left wheel, is that curb rash? Or just a shadow? Any up close pictures? Also, when refinished, what if any repairs were made to the wheels (cracks, bends, rash . . . ).

  Just to add to the refinishing of these wheels. They were stripped via media blasting and powder coated. They were never mounted to tires after painting.
